Well. I have my regional settings on Dutch, which give the "€" Though I keep on seeing the "$"
Tried it on German which uses the € too. But the same problem.

Alright, thanks for finding that. When I resume development on this thing, I'll take a look into what could be the problem.

Try the new version. The regional issue SHOULD be fixed.

Re: [APP] Shp Finance 2.41 [8/5/09] [VGA/QVGA/Wide]

Also a little update:

I've finally resumed development on this again, since I have some extra time nowadays to actually do so. Currently I'm working on v2.5, which should be a fairly significant overhaul to the program. Originally, I started the project over from scratch and was going to make it more graphical and release as v3.0, but with the new WVGA phones coming out, the weird .NET controls provided in WM6.5, and WM7 coming in the future, I figured I'd wait to see what Microsoft has to offer before I go down that road. It may be beneficial to wait.

Version 2.5 is going to have a few big changes along with a few new features:
- Adding a calculator/number entry pop-up to help enter amounts into boxes. This, of course, will be an option that you can turn off, but I thought it would be very useful for me.
- Income will be dealt with a little differently. Pre-Tax Deductions will be included into each income item. This will require less code and less screen-switching for the user.
- Budget tab will be entirely different. Here you will be able to mark off your expenses as paid when they are paid. The expenses tab is nice, but I'd like to integrate it with something interactive that can show the user current status for the month.
- Ledger tab will have the ability to show transactions within a defined date selection
- If possible, I may implement a stronger AES-type encryption algorithm to the data

There might be more than that...but I'm still thinking up crap. Any ideas...shoot.

Re: [APP] Shp Finance 2.41 [8/5/09] [VGA/QVGA/Wide]

I don't know if this is possible, but I was thinking it would be cool if you could pay bills/expenses from within the program. You could add a Pay Now button next to each expense. The user could link a web site to the button. As an example, I could link my credit card's web site to the Pay Now button, which would open my default browser.

What is apptodate? Glad to know someone else is using this besides me, haha. I still use it on a regular basis too.

This is an excellent idea. How far would you like this to go, though? I'm not sure if I could implement it in such a way that it could enter in the login information, but I should be able to make it so that it can direct you to the site (user would have to specify).
