I'm sorry, that's the one feature I don't use. (I use wired noise cancelling headphones and when I plug my phone into my car I do so using a jack.)

I would definitely test it for you though if had some bluetooth headphones. I've been meaning to buy some, but I probably won't get around to it or find the best deal by the time you need an answer.

I did search for avrcp in the xda nitrogen thread and got no results (besides that post I linked to in the op). I also looked through wolfman's avrcp agent thread and didn't see nitrogen mentioned. However, I didn't want to leave you with just that, so I was able to find this. It was a bug report of the same issue on the google code's homepage of this app. They too had a tp and a stock rom; however, that may have actually been you that posted that, lol. Hopefully though this issue will get resolved. It's probably the only thing this app's lacking.

Also, the nicknames made me laugh, bennyMMVIII.

Re: [6/7/09] - Nitrogen v1.0.0 (definitely my new mp3 player)

After playing with this for a couple days, here's a quick review. Shuffle does work now. You can even set previous/next button to change song, which will also shuffle if you have it enabled. I wasn't able to get the repeat song to work; however, I never have and probably never will use that feature, so not a deal breaker for me, I'm just reporting in.

Finally, some of you may have noticed that the buttons on the options menu have gotten smaller. It's just part of the default skin and not a bug with the app. The menus can be made larger again by using one of the skins I linked to in post #8. I still use ManilaLike, gotta love that scroll wheel.

Also, the skins for the previous version(.0.3.2) still work on this newer version. Although I linked to the official skin thread in the first post and #8 as well, here it is again just for your convenience.

This player looks great.

+1 for AVRCP addition. I stream to my BT headset all the time.

I've used s2p in the past, way too clunky for me. Give nitrogen a try. I was really blown away when first started using it quite a few months back. One thing that's not been brought up enough here is that Nitrogen is super light on the ram usage and great for lower ram devices. I think you'll enjoy it, if not you can always downgrade back to s2p (had to get in one last jab).

Re: [6/7/09] - Nitrogen v1.0.0 (definitely my new mp3 player)

I just tried Nitrogen v1.0, and it definitely seems faster and less resource hungry than my current player, CorePlayer. However, AVRCP definitely doesn't work as it doesn't respond to any button clicks from my headphone. The interface on Nitrogen is definitely much nicer than CorePlayer, but AVRCP support is a must for me, unfortunately.

First of all: Congrats on your first post!!!!

Yeah, Nitrogen is by far the best looking and least resource hungry of any player out there.

As far as the AVRCP support, did you try the work around listed at the bottom of the first post?
