i disagree, u really only have to config it once, now if u combine the two thats no an extra step everytime u want to run a flush. i know personally i have cleanram in my start menu so when i want to run it i can jus tap on it and let it do its thing as opposed to opening up a program then running it.

what I'm getting at I guess, is for those circumstances when you want a Level3 purge for a pesky hung app, but your default is 1 or 2. there are way to many steps especially when the phone is "busy" with hung app.

i see i see. i can agree when u explain it like that. just have the OPTION to run it from the config app, not necissarily have it like that all the time

i don't think we should remove the old shortcuts, just add a button in the config window so it is an option to run from there...

as shaggy has explained a little further. not sure, but my OEM may not put the cleanram link in the start menu, i moved the .lnk in my personal OEM to the start>programs. forget which OEM i upped though... lol

so... what are you/all thinking the right/best way to do it ? what is your/all final conclusions ?

i think it would be great to leave as-is, but add a "clean" button or something inside the config window so that you can also execute cleanram directly from the config menu.

& in your 1st post quoting me, i was saying that i was NOT having the keyboard bug. it is working without issues on my diamond w/the savage25rcracer keyboard from calc's kitchen.

Yes, but this keyboard issue is really existing bug, so I just inform (you all) this issue will be fixed on my next version and im sorry about that.

yea, that and/or command arguments for custom shortcuts or inclusion in mortscript.

Just want to reaffirm everyone's opinion of Ronen. After stating the next version won't be out until 4/4/09, I just got a message from him with the new version. Supposedly the keyboard bug was fixed as well. The complete changelog can be seen in the first post.

Also, he has already incorporated the suggestion to run cleanRAM from the configuration window, which was just suggested YESTERDAY. Ronen, you are amazing. Never in my 2+ years of ppc'ing have I seen such a dedicated developer. Please consider helping him out a little bit and reward his hardwork. His donation links are in the op, as well as in his sig.
