Its sound like you have there some application that you should not be closed or some application that you can't start twice on the same time (startup applications). check/search which application stuck your start menu. use "Exceptions List" to find it. btw: when you find it share with us. also you can just disabled the "Close All Apps" feature.

if i disable the "Close All Apps" there is no error

oldSAP (PM): "Found the culprit, its pBar.exe everything works fine if i add pBar.exe to the exceptions list."


Warning!

You can't expect to use "Close All Applications" without calculate the results that something will goes wrong, some processes on ram memory will be stuck your device if you try to stopped them. the solution for this issue is to find the process/program that stuck your device, use "exception list" feature or just disabled the "Close All Applications" feature.

I ran in to this on my Apache with an earlier version of the OEM. Installling the update did not replace the OEM, instead it installed as normal and I had 2 versions at the same time.

Ok now I get it, thanks obvious that Update Service know only one thing to do, update to full cab version, if you like me to add "mode selector" with OEM/Normal versions, just give me the full list of OEM files (with full path) to where copy it...

yea, that' makes sense. OEM's put programs in \Windows\
there's a way to copy them to \Program Files\ but it's a copy function and you still end up with 2 copies..
that is the main reason why I don't cook everything into a rom. I like to have my programs organized in the proper folder, also saves on bloat in the win dir.

After you update cleanRAM give me the exact locations of those two copys and are you sure its not only new icons ?
