So far everyone (including me) that has installed the new beta over the original MS3 has had all settings/tweaks/configurations stay 'as-is', so you should be all set!!

setup and widgets not affected...MUCH improved portrait/landscape switch. Widget layout after switch to landscape seems much improved as well.

Want to chime in also concerning SPB weather...it works beautifully with MS 3.0...actually worked well with the older version as well. I didn't have a problem of inaccurate weather...but I'm in sunny SoCal...so I guess weather doesn't change all that often!!

I has a strange occurrence today I was wondering if it was just me or not.

I updated to the new beta and at some point today S2U2 lost all notification and appointment data. I could not get them back no matter what I did. I finally did a hard reset and backup from a point before the beta MS3 and now S2U2 is up and running again.

i finally upgraded to the beta a couple days ago and haven't lost my s2u2 notifications....
what exactly happened? the notification boxes and icons weren't coming up?

I also had a problem with s2u2 and ms3.0.1‚ but not the same as yours. Everytime I had an incoming call the phone would freeze up. S2u2 was doing some other weird things too so I reinstalled ms 3.0.

Actually now that I thinK about it‚ ever since I installed the original ms 3 I have lost my sms preview notification in s2u2. All of the other bubbles are there‚ but not the sms one. I run vito chat and have it linked by registry through ms3. Anyone have any ideas?

sounds like this guy had the same issue... he claims he resolved it, so maybe you should ask him. let me know if you guys figure it out, so i know wha tto do if it ever happens to me.

did anyone ever figure out how to get opera favorites to show up? in both my favs and opera favs it just has myspace and facebook listed (i don't even have myspace as a bookmark). i tried using this fix http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=531

still no go.

is there a certain place where the bookmarks are stored for both opera and internet explorer? my internet history links show up... it's just weird my favorites don't.
any info would be great, thanks.

EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out.

freeza..... orlandojumpoff had a good idea in asking how you fixed this. I had this issue as well, and my fix was to downgrade to the original MS3 (not exactly the best fix in the world LOL)!!!

I have come to conclusion that I don't like the MS3. I'm going back to MS2. I don't like that they took a lot of the options away. The main thing is the lag between Portrait and Landscape. 9 sec. is too long to wait when there is an emergency. The screens are repetitious. I like the Lifestyle layout page and thats it. Maybe I will go back when they do some major releases. Going back to MS2 WHOHOOO!
