Myphone & Exchange issue

I use MyPhone to backup my contacts and calendar, but when I have my company exchange set-up I cannot sync with myphone anymore. Is there a work-around for this, or a setting I'm not aware of?

I've been using Seven of late which connects me to my company exchange server without tying up the ActiveSync exchange account so MyPhone can use it. In addition Seven connects to a couple Gmail accounts for me. http://www.seven.com/

Re: Myphone & Exchange issue

Setup Myphone first before setting up exchange.

I have this issue as well.

That sounds tight. I'll have to try that.

The only problem with running Myphone first and then setting-up my exchange is that I cannot back-up to Myphone after setting it up and I can't delete my exchange account after to backup my contacts and appointments to Myphone whenever I flash a new ROM.

Re: Myphone & Exchange issue

Does your company offer IMAP service?

My company's exchange server also supports IMAP protocol.

This would let you set up the inbox, but still be able to use Myphone.

I would love to ask, but according to them, my Diamond is not capable of using an exchange server. I have taken it upon myself to retrieve my mail. I work a 4 on, 4 off schedule and sometimes they expect me to respond while on days off.

Re: Myphone & Exchange issue

I run Exchange 2007 server, and see no reason why Diamond wouldn't work.. Are they running some strange policies to be enforced that your version of WinMo doesn't support?

Re: Myphone & Exchange issue

Do you have access to outlook web access?

If so, have you tried setting it up with Active Sync just to see. Don't always believe what IT People say.

I should know, I'm in IT.

Re: Myphone & Exchange issue

I have been running it on my phone for the past 6 months, my only problem is when I have an exchange account set-up, I can't use MyPhone. Is there a way to delete an exchange account from my phone? If I could delete it, then I could always run MyPhone after when I am flashing a new ROM.
