I'm with sarge...I loaded it on my wife's Alltel Diamond with stock ROM...and MS3 just ate up the battery life. Went back to 2.15.

I haven't noticed a battery issue at all and that's saying a lot using NRG's energy ROM...cus well it uses a lot of NRG. And im still using TF3D2 at the same time...

I thought maybe it put ThumbCal as one of the pages or something, that would be cool. Because I could just put the shortcut as a widget on the page, but that wouldnt be as cool as having it already replacing the calender as whole, or is that even possible.

I agree having these 3rd party apps as separate widgets would be cool!! I am adding the new English file to fix the menu for calendar + tasks from being in french!!!

Yes, mine did come with Opera, maybe that is why yours doesn't. I am not sure, but maybe if you import a reg entry (assuming you have Opera installed on the device, otherwise it would need tweaking) like I have on mine to include Opera in the menu.

Go to HKLM\Software\SPB Mobile Shell\Menu\Root\Internet and see if you have a folder named Opera....if you do, open that folder, and change the DWORD value of Check to 1.

If you don't have an Opera folder, I am adding my reg file for it. Please have a backup done before you attempt either meathod, and if anyone here knows about reg editing pretty well, please look this over first...I am no expert!!!!

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

hbenz2008.....The ThumbCal integration file I found on the SPB thread must have been written in French to begin with because when users installed it, we wound up with a couple french terms on the MS3 screen (nothing major), so it isn't a french site, but I will post the link to the thread here if your interested in getting in touch with that member.

P.S. The English 'fix' doesn't seem to do anything, I will try a reset and let you guys know.

will the thumbcall plugin for v2 work?

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

Apparently the version 2 patch doesn't work as well (if at all). The version I posted works pretty well if you access calendar and tasks through the launcher. There is also a difference in installation. in the MS2 version you placed the .dll file in the ThumbCal program folder...in the MS3 version, you drop the .dll file into the Shell program folder.

The English fix file I posted just a couple posts ago really didn't do anything for me, maybe with a new install it will work. I went through the reg editor and changed the text values for calendar and notes and I am all set now.
