I'm loving this right now on my VX6800, but I have one question.

How can I get a button in my volume control like in HTC home that will allow me to put my phone into silent mode, but still let the Alarm sound?? I miss that so much and hate it when get a call when I'm sleeping.

Nope....this version of Shell doesn't cover the upper task bar like Shell 2 did!! A big step back for SPB in my opinion.

Same in leaked and official though!!

Covering the start bar in Mobile Shell 2.0 caused a bug where if you missed the audio notification for an appointment you wouldn't know it by looking at the screen since the notification icon is on the start bar. By having it visible in Mobile Shell 3.0 they have alleviated the problem. If they cover it up then they would need to find a way to deal with this situation. Maybe a reminder widget.

Wow....there is a LOT of good info in the SPB Shell forum!!!!

I haven't tried it yet (will soon) but they posted an updated patch for ThumbCal to better integrate with Shell!!

Im not sure what to do with the file, I think it wants it to be registered and I dont want to buy it yet( Thumb Cal ), so I dont know what to do. Keep me posted, because I think I like this ThumbCal.

Maybe I didn't look enough, but is there a way to get the old nice battery gage off of MS2 on the top of the professional home page? Registry tweak or cab?

If you mean on the moving Shell to a memory card, the original author didn't do it, and I didn't really plan on it either, I just wanted to keep you guys up on the latest tweaks. As for the ThumbCal integration, I posted a few above, but it does work...not 100%, but if you use the launcher to get to calendar, it works fine.

I was wondering why so many people didn't like the top bar covered, that makes sense. I use S2U2, so all my notifications show there. I have seen they are working on new widgets, I think different types of notifications are the most requested, so hopefully soon.

What version of ThumbCal are you using? If you are using the earlier free version, I am not sure if this will work at all, but if you have the recent pay version, and think(understandably from the wording) that this file is asking you to register (AKA pay for a code) just for this tweak, not at all, all you do is click yes and it makes the connection between ThumbCal and MS3, nothing else.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

Syrguy 1969- I clicked yes and closed it, got pulled off to do somethingelse. That was just the impression I got when it ask yes for registered. I was gonna see what this file did, exactly. I thought maybe it put ThumbCal as one of the pages or something, that would be cool. Because I could just put the shortcut as a widget on the page, but that wouldnt be as cool as having it already replacing the calender as whole, or is that even possible.

Did Opera come with your phone by any chance? It's still not working for me.

I went back to 2.0...I don't know man 2.0 was just plain and simple. 3.0 is a whole lot of nothing. 4 screens 3 you can customize but into what? It's just a lot of unnecessary stuff .
