Follow the screenshots to get it done from the lifestyle screen. Same works for the professional screen as well.

2.jpg - Click on Calendar Options.
3.jpg - Click on number of appointments to adjust how man weeks/appointments are shown.
4.jpg - Shows the options for 3.jpg.

Anybody know how to make the fonts smaller on the home screen? Like the appointments fonts?

So far- this thing rocks! Copper + SPB( or Windows Default) cant go wrong.

Much better than the memory hug TF3D.... Just my MHO.

I didn't see this mention in the thread but the "kinetic" finger scrolling is awful. If you flick a little bit it works okay, but if you flick too hard it just goes right to the bottom of the list that you're scrolling through and you can't stop it.

Hopefully they'll get that fixed, it's a pretty awesome piece of software otherwise.

just thought u would like to know i have just been over to the spb forum where one member asked the administrator if they wanted feed back on the early leak (i thought it was a test cab but the admin guy said it is a early beta). he said that most of the problems in it are already known and have been fixed.

He then went on to say to wait for the offical release before giving feedback on problems which is DAYS AWAY NOT WEEKS.

So i expect it next tuesday as i have heard spb like releasing stuff on tuesday

What Facebook integration is that? Using pictures for your contacts or is there a "quick app" or something? Xperia panel style?

Only thing I found was syncing facebook pictures (contact pictures - you can go in and choose one of their recent facebook pictures as their contact picture)

Would love to see some real facebook integration (i.e. quick app)

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

I am new to the whole shell world and I really like this program, can't stop playing with it! I initially found it a little difficult to slide through the left/right/center panes when swiping horizontally as I would have to swipe a couple times for it to catch. I found that if you swipe with your thumb in a downward angle motion it is really smooth. Example: center pane to right pane, swipe top left of screen diagonally to bottom right corner of screen and vice versa with left pane. Might be obvious to most but maybe this will help new Shell users like myself!

I ran it for a couple hours this morning. Not bad. I bet people will come up with some great skins for it.

Was back to TF3D in after a couple hours.

Meh.

Meh indeed.

Spent a few hours with it too, not a bad shell, but that's what it is: an exterior shell. I'm back on TF3D because of its higher level of integration with WM. (especially Manila 2) I can't preview my texts/mails, pictures, etc. with MS3... I have to enter the hideous barren landscape that is windows mobile.

It wasn't bad, by any means... I'm not ripping on it. I think people that are currently using Mobile Shell 2 are going to be in heaven.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

I managed to install Shell 3 last night on my i910 Omnia. I installed over Shell 2, I have SPB Weather installed (version 1, not 2), and everything seems to be running pretty smoothly. There are a few things I would like to see improved upon though.

For one thing, I used Shell 2 for a long time, and grew accustomed to the skinned top system bar, and with 3 not being true full-screen, it looks akward and out of place, I would love Shell 3 to be full-screen again.

I would also love it if SPB could make it more customizable. I do love the lifestyle layout for the custom background and layout customization (limited as it is), but what I would like to see is to open the compatibility factor such as linking the SMS button to PocketCM, or the calender to ThumbCal....you get the idea!! (According the Shell, it is on the integration list, but doesn't seem to work)

I do like the kinetic scrolling, as mentioned earlierr, if you 'flick' too hard it does go fast to the end, but I find if I tap the screen I can stop it.

I like the shortcut option, but I would like it to be a shortcut like on windows, one app instead or a menu of all your shortcuts. (on a side note, does anyone know why if I create a shortcut to the start menu for an app it will disappear after a reset, I can't get them to stick)!!

I had a few other things on my mind, but I can't get them out now, I will post more later.

Has anyone had issues with the ringers becoming disabled? This also happened in version 2.1.5. It seems like the "profile" in SPB 3.0 messes them up. (I'm using a Sprint treo pro.. btw). Other than this (and errors with 3d acceleration), it's pretty nice.

yes, I have had this very issue. I use phonealarm to control my profiles, and SPB MS 3.0 totally messed it up, as if it overrode all my settings. MS 2.0 does not do this.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

I miss the ability to set the sound profile to "automatic". Which makes your phone auto switch to vibrate during meetings and normal ringer during non-appointment times. I like to set a 8-5 appointment every workday so my phone is on vibrate during work hours.

I know mobile shell 2.0 was able to integrate spb phone suite. Does anyone know if that is the case with 3.0 as well? If it does, that might help with the profile issue.

Probably the greatest feature of TF3D is the embedded texts/email (pictures are nice to but probably not as big)... Other than that, is there any other advantages to TF3D?

I really the way you can customize MS3 with widgets. Unless things have changed TF3D limits you to one "theme" per page.

Does anyone have the exe file for SPB Moblie Shell 3.0? I used the cab file and sure enough I run into issues when trying to set up weather. Also, I have had problems using FB (it wont let me sign in, and i am using the right email and password). So if someone, anyone, has the exe so I can install via active sync, please help me locate it. The links on the first page don't work. Tried them multiple times. If it makes any difference, I am using Merdin's latest rom, NOT Mighty's for the time being.

Questions for all:

1) To get multiple cities for weather, could I use SPB Traveller or do I have to use SPB weather?

2) One post stated that rotating their HTC diamond would rotate the screen. I'm using a Sprint Diamond and I don't have that effect. I used the cab file and the version is 3.0.0., Build 6362. Any ideas?

Thanks,

GP

Oh yeah... the built in music player in TF3D is miles better than the crappy wmp widget in mobile shell 3, also the weather is much more eye candy at least... And overall TF3D looks way better but I think the future may change that when people start creating new themes for mobile shell 3.

At the moment it looks boring, the lifestyle screen is cool but the professional one looks almost like a 2 year old HTC today from an old HTC S730 or something. Awful....

HOLY COW....Does anyone realize that this not SPB's release but a beta release from who and when?. There is no telling what is or is not going to work when it is official. I have been using 2.0 (registered) and I cannot live without it. Let's wait to use the REAL release to make any real yeas or nays about SPB Mobile Shell 3.0. Personally I can't wait. :protest:

I think some people are missing the point..

The life-style screen is COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZABLE... This is an awesome upgrade.

Personally, Moving from tf3d to spb mobile shell 2.0 improved my phone's usability by 1000%.. and this is a good upgrade on that.

(I can't believe people use tf3d.. It's so slow to get things done in there.. I tried it.. for almost 6 months before ditching it)
