Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!
I tried the facebook intigration, and it worked great!! For the image-size questions, I have an Omnia, and I use a couple images I resize to at least 400x400 making sure the focal point of the image is near the middle. Not perfect at times, but looks cool!!

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!
I'd love to see a picture app like the contacts carousel, in fact it could replace the contact carousel for all I care. I don't miss the slow TF3D mail and SMS eye candy overlays at all. The weather "app"" makes up for its lack of eye candy by showing current weather on the home screen, updating regularly (not just when it's clicked on) and having more detail in the 5 day. My biggest issues are how long the program takes to load after a soft reset and how slow it is going in and out of landscape. I was saddened to find that the pause /play control on my plantronics 855 still works with WMP only. I thought this had something to do with TF3D, but even with that disabled pressing the pause button on the headset starts WMP if it's not already running. The control also worked with the TF3D player, which I suspect may be WMP behind a skin. This seems to be an issue with the bt on the phone, I guess I will have to learn to live with WMP. Still, this is a major upgrade over TF3D for me and I can't see myself going back. Can't wait to see what can be hacked into it with time and wish I was smart enough to be the one to do it.

Here are my screens, has anyone noticed icons get pretty messed up when in landscape mode? (actually, Shell 2 did this as well)

As for comparisons to TFL3D, for me it comes down to my frequent usage. In TFL3D you have to swipe to get each individual pane that performs a separate distinct function (i.e. Weather pane, contact pane, connectivity). Also, the frequent contacts means you have to swipe through your list to get to the one you want. Whereas Mobile Shell 2.1.5 or 3.0 gives you quick contact picking on one screen, and all my main functionality on one screen. If I want weather I don't have to swipe 4 times to get to the screen. If I want mail I don't have to swipe twice. I guess it depends on how many options are on the scrolling bar at the bottom of TFL3D. If they are all on the screen then it is only one touch for each screen. I like how SPB tried to minimize the amount of navigation. Though for each there is a learning curve. I used TFL3D exclusively for about 1 month and have been using Mobile Shell 2.1 for about 3 months. I think Mobile Shell 3.0 will be the new standard at least for me.
