Only thing I found was syncing facebook pictures (contact pictures - you can go in and choose one of their recent facebook pictures as their contact picture)

Would love to see some real facebook integration (i.e. quick app)

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

I am new to the whole shell world and I really like this program, can't stop playing with it! I initially found it a little difficult to slide through the left/right/center panes when swiping horizontally as I would have to swipe a couple times for it to catch. I found that if you swipe with your thumb in a downward angle motion it is really smooth. Example: center pane to right pane, swipe top left of screen diagonally to bottom right corner of screen and vice versa with left pane. Might be obvious to most but maybe this will help new Shell users like myself!

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

I ran it for a couple hours this morning. Not bad. I bet people will come up with some great skins for it.

Was back to TF3D in after a couple hours.

Meh.

Meh indeed.

Spent a few hours with it too, not a bad shell, but that's what it is: an exterior shell. I'm back on TF3D because of its higher level of integration with WM. (especially Manila 2) I can't preview my texts/mails, pictures, etc. with MS3... I have to enter the hideous barren landscape that is windows mobile.

It wasn't bad, by any means... I'm not ripping on it. I think people that are currently using Mobile Shell 2 are going to be in heaven.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!!

I managed to install Shell 3 last night on my i910 Omnia. I installed over Shell 2, I have SPB Weather installed (version 1, not 2), and everything seems to be running pretty smoothly. There are a few things I would like to see improved upon though.

For one thing, I used Shell 2 for a long time, and grew accustomed to the skinned top system bar, and with 3 not being true full-screen, it looks akward and out of place, I would love Shell 3 to be full-screen again.

I would also love it if SPB could make it more customizable. I do love the lifestyle layout for the custom background and layout customization (limited as it is), but what I would like to see is to open the compatibility factor such as linking the SMS button to PocketCM, or the calender to ThumbCal....you get the idea!! (According the Shell, it is on the integration list, but doesn't seem to work)

I do like the kinetic scrolling, as mentioned earlierr, if you 'flick' too hard it does go fast to the end, but I find if I tap the screen I can stop it.

I like the shortcut option, but I would like it to be a shortcut like on windows, one app instead or a menu of all your shortcuts. (on a side note, does anyone know why if I create a shortcut to the start menu for an app it will disappear after a reset, I can't get them to stick)!!

I had a few other things on my mind, but I can't get them out now, I will post more later.
