FYI, I bought SPB 2.1 back on Jan 2 which is just outside their 90 day upgrade free policy. My serial for 2.1 didn't work. I sent them an email and they replied with a link for a free upgrade.

So if you are outside the free upgrade window, give it a shot. They replied in under an hour. Here's the link I used to send the message.

I would upgrade in a sec, but S2U2 doesn't support v2. It is great though, I have been looking at it, I would recoment it as well!!

I run TF3D and MS3 together plus I have access to my Today screen. I use a free app called TF3D Detacher. It is the bomb you can reassign your soft keys and everything. Attached is the cab file if anyone wants to try it out.

has anyone gotten the Facebook integration to work WITHOUT WiFi? I am running a Touch which doesn't give the option of WiFi. It is giving me a "Login Failed" message everytime.

I am having no luck whatsoever.

I tried logging on to the mobile Facebook site and did so with no problem. everytime i try to log on within the Shell, it says "Login Failed".

Nobody has this issue?

I set my icons up WHILE in landscape - and it seems to work better.

How do they look in portrait though? They need to go somewhere I know, but it seems pretty chaotic at times where they wind-up.

Something annoys the hell out of me with mobile shell 3... I've really started to like it but I can't just reply to sms messages like in TF3D...

When I recieve an sms and click on the sms (new message notification) in mobile shell 3 it opens the message, highlighted in green with no SIP and no way to reply, I have to shut down the sms and re-open it to start typing the reply.

There's no way I'm the only one with this problem because it was the same with the leaked build and now with the official release...

Is it possible it has something to do with fingerkeyboard2??? This issue is giving me a headache, please help me solve it before I remove mobile shell 3 out of anger, because I text all the time...

Has anyone figured out how to get tf3d or any other UI like Throttle Launcher to work when you start it up? MS3 and tf3d are not playing nice with each other. One poster mentioned taking it out of the startup folder and short cutting it in MS3 but outside of that anyone have luck?

i remember seeing an option on where to cache wallpaper and icons.. i cant find the setting anymore... when i scroll between my lifestykle pages.. it is taking a few secs for the icons to load... anyone know where that setting option is or possible cause of trble?

I'm not sure what's causing this, but it started after I installed MS3 and PhoneSuite1.3.
My phone stops syncing after a little while. It will sync when I first connect the cable (sometime I have to soft reset) and then after a while, my A/S icon disappears and new information on the PC or the Diamond doesn't get synced. Disconnect and reconnect and it's fine for a little while.

I have not had a problem with MS3 make sure you deactivate TF3D in the today items screen. soft reset...and voila..

Anyone know if there are differences between the earlier released ver of MS3 and the OFFICIAL ver of MS3

Noobie question - Is there a way to "turn off" MS3 and switch back to TF3D2? I thought there would be an option under the Today tab in settings to de-select MS3. I'm using Juicy's 6 rom (soon to move to 7 when the minor quirks are worked out) and would like to be able to easily switch back and forth.

delete the shortcut to MS in the windows startup folder, then check the today screen setting for TF3D

has anyone had a problem where they can't remove the text from an item when re-arranging the menus? I can add the text but I can't delete it.

I believe his ROM still has the beta MS3. The new release is version 6411.
(not quite sure what has changed from the previous beta release)

I hit one of the resize buttons and that got rid of the text for me, then to get text back I hit the text button....a little confusing, but try to add an app icon, and hit medium in the menu...the icon doesn't change size, but the text is gone.

I have SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 installed (regestered) I do not have the SBP weather app installed becuase the one that came with mobile shell works fine, however, does it not give real time weather results, only predicted highs and lows. For example when I check the weather at 6 a.m. it says its 96 degrees when it should say 75 degrees. (Like in TF3D). Also How do I get the Media widget to work and read my playlist files, instead of launching WMP everytime I hit play?

Odd...I had some connection issues when running MS2 and PhoneSuite. With MS3 I removed PhoneSuite and have had zero connection issues. I thought I'd miss the features and profiles of PhoneSuite but so far I'm liking just using MS3.

Sup Coz, I have spb phone suite and no syncing prob here. As of now, I dont see possible that we can implement spb phone suite profile with MS3. Can only implement phone profiles(silent,lound...) .Ideal will be to have spb phone suite email (which we can tell what email to open,sms,text in MS3....just a matter of time i believe.....

I have no problems with MS3 and phone suite. I am using the Messaging Wigdet which allows you to see some messaging options of "New Text Message", "New Email", "Text Messages", or "Email". When you have new messages you go to the email option and you can see which inboxes have email.

Adding more pages to lifestyle
 

Here is the reg tweak to add more pages/screens to Lifestyle mode.
Change HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Spb Software House 2\Spb Mobile Shell\Widgets\HomeScreen\PageCount value to number of screens. Currently I'm using 5 screens, and works fine.

How are you running both? I tried that and when I hit the "Today Screen" button in SPB Mobile, it wont display TF3D, even though it is still checked in the Today screen options. If you could explain how you made it work that would be awesome....because there are things I miss about TF3D!
