Re: Sprint Navigation update

Telenav looks beautiful now on my Touch Pro. I'm signed in and the interface is nice. However it can't find any satellites!!! I have found sats with all other apps (Live Search, Yahoo, Google and GPS Today). Any suggestions on getting Telenav to actually find satellites would be great, I pay for this because I like the voice prompts.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Re: Sprint Navigation update

Very nice, I thought it looked a bit pixilated... The proper resolution just makes it so much better, more finger friendly too... the only loss is the street names are kinda tiny... Many Thanks!

I had this working great when first installed, but today, it keeps crashing.
I can select locations, but when I tell it what method to use to get there, it "works", but when the countdown gets to 0, it just goes bye-bye. Consistently. Soft resets don't help.
I'm going to try the one from Juggalo's thread mentioned earlier and post results.

Installed- better than the OEM Diamond app, but not as nice as the 5.1 Telenav app.
I'm still trying to find v5.2 for a VGA WM device.

Re: Sprint Navigation update

I have double icons. One from sprint 2.1 and one from telenav 5.2. I have deleted both from programs under file explorer and removed from settings as well. The 2 icons are still in my programs and on my start menu. How can I remove to install Telenav once again....

Weird.... same here

My issue was that I did not read post#1, where you need sprint 2.1 nav and then install telenav. So Telenav automatically shuts down when I indicate "fastest route" as my choice.

Then I re-installed sprint nav.2.1, soft reset, and tested it, then installed telenav again:
http://ota.telenav.com/ota/tn/choice/htc_htc.html
and registered again, it worked...
Clear sharp images, not the the tiny, small ones.. Very responsive and accurate.
I am still debating which radio works best for minimum lag on GPS. Thats another issue.

Re: Sprint Navigation update

Does anyone know if the telenav-sn-htc-touch.cab found on http://ota.telenav.com/ota/tn/choice/sn_sprint.html under sprint touch is compatible with the Touch Pro namely VGA compatible. This version is supposed to be Telenav 5.2 which is an update of the 5.1 version available at http://ota.telenav.com/ota/tn/choice/htc_htc.html.

Thanks just wanted advice before I install the cab.

That link specifies certain ppc's, and the Pro isn't one of them. I know the Mogul is wvga, not vga.

Ok so where are people getting Telenav 5.2 for the Touch Pro? The version I have is 5.1.16.

Thanks
