1) Is sprint navigation a paid service over and above the data plan?
2) If I follow every instruction posted in this thread..and use sprint nav...would I incur extra charge?

Thanks in advance.
I second that. I know someone who has installed Sprint navi and had it running on their touch pro for months no without incurring fees related to it. Luck? They have unlimited data like a number of us here. If you are on a plan that has unlimited data usage can you simply install this cab and not worry about being hit with a fat bill at the end of your cycle? Is this feature included for the many individuals with unlimited data on their plan, sero or other? Thanks

Re: Sprint Navigation update

sorry but this is not the best option the icons do look better but that is the only reason I would do this first the turn arrows blend in with the map and does not clearly show turns and you can not dial a number directly from you have to dial manually also there is not as much options. To say that all sprint does is tag it with there name and icon is not correct there is alot more then that. I will stick with sprint nav it work better then this solution. Also I found more delay using this then sprint nav. This is just my opion

I agree and my older eyes have more trouble reading the text in this version.

Re: Sprint Navigation update

I have unlimited data as well with my SERO plan. I thought Sprint Navigation was not included. Can someone confirm or deny this? What about Sprint TV?

Re: Sprint Navigation update

Got it installed, however when I go to my contacts and click menu then drive to... the telenav opens but does not go to their address anymore. It stays on the main screen. How do I make my telenav operate with my addresses in my contacts list. Sprint Tele nav had this feature.

Thanks

Re: Sprint Navigation update

I'd assume so. You can also find the .cab file for the original program here on the forum.
