Re: Smartphone Tracker
Installed this on my TP2 running MightyRom and the program can't Initiate the GPS. Phone shows Init GPS (0/0).... I checked to make sure my location was on and the GPS seems to be working because google maps finds my location. Any ideas on what the problem is?

Re: Smartphone Tracker
This works great on my TP2 with WM6.5 (stock Verizon MR2). The only problem is it eats through the battery very quickly in background mode. With OC'ing, I have been able to get up to three days on a full charge. With this software installed, I can't get through one day (just like the bad old days before OC'ing).
I'm using the latest version from the developers website. It adds the ability to take a photo and send it with the email containing the Google Maps location. Anyone have a fix for this or a suggestion on settings? Is the drain because the program is constantly accessing the GPS? Is GPS normally not activated unless a specific application requires it? Bottom Line: Like the app and it's functionality Not very useful if the device dies from a drained battery before it can be tracked!

Re: Smartphone Tracker
Guys, I'm so glad to find this software but also extremely disappointed to know that there is a STUPID shortcut on the start menu that no matter what I do it just reappear every time the program is executed. I saw MightRom's Rom log that it contain this software without the shortcut but too sad it doesn't included in the Kitchen. it only in the Rom and my phone is not the right one for that rom. Any of you here have that EXT package? or know how to get rid of it?
