@Da_G: I think the problem is only happening when an attempt is made to create a hybrid ROM, for me, i had to apply the start menu fix that i used in 23009. Otherwise everything is OK for me. I m using shell32.exe from 21928 and its working great. I also tested with default shell32.exe and it worked without any problem too. Just compime.dll is needed to be replaced for Java apps.

When I first booted using the dpi files from joojoobee which were based on yours, the today screen had a black background, the start menu would not come up, and if I scrolled, the text got all smeared.

I did not try the 23009 start menu fix on the 23016 dpi files. I guess I can try that and see if it fixes the issues.

This is on a Titan.

Did you apply the dialer fix? If you did, that should be the problem.

Well, since I've made some change in Chinese inside the ROM for my ELFIN, I don't think it'll be useful for you. Sorry for that. But I would suggest you visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426540

becasue ONYX is the best ELFIN ROM that I've tried, and in fact, it's DSI who teach me a lot for how to cook.

i can also confirm an issue with 23016, im also having an issue with the titanium home screen and the start menu
im trying the 23009 fix but i have found something..
in the qvga dpi files that joojoobee666 posted he has this folder :
base_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_240
it should be:
base_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_320
