Here's the TUT. ->http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=438676

If it's puking out on you, that's usually because of overlaps in Slot 0 (the first section of the map.txt). You will have to look at the map.txt from a working XIP and manually reallocate the modules based of the addresses in there for the modules.

As far as using the files from Da_G's kitchen, you just need to dump your XIP, write maps, make Packages and remove the MSIXIPKernel Modules (leaving the corresponding text file for the module) and put the one's from the kitchen in place. Update the text file with the new module size (calculate by adding up the S00* file sizes). I'm not sure this step is totally necessary, but it can't hurt. Then, XIPPort will puke out because it's almost a guarantee that you will have overlaps. Fix em like a said and you should be good.

As far as donor's, I'll probably have some xip's up in a bit along with PPCK files.

Does it matter if you make the page pool smaller or larger?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Guys and gals!
I would offer not to use 23003 SYS from current Da_G's kitchen because of wakeup issues. Check your devices - leave them on a table for 5 minutes - and you won't be able to wake them up....
Something's gone wrong with dumping or whatever.
That's the 23003 SYS and XIP that really works: http://rapidshare.com/files/25225962...P_SYS_DUMP.rar

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Well, not trying to be expert on this subject but i faced the same problem described by AndrewSh and dddrko and i solved it by increasing my pagepool a bit. On my phone, anything less then 5 MB as pagepool causes this problem. Optimal pagepool settings differ from device to device so cant tell you what exact value will work for you. But try increasing in steps of 1 MB.

@XDA2_Haseeb: Buddy you have named the file wrong at rapidshare, it says 23001. Or is it the other way

Havent tried smaller than the default 8mb, but even 1mb larger fails.

Ironically enough, it works fine if I dont touch it at all. Or, it works fine with a modded pagepool on a different SYS.

Im really having trouble narrowing it down.
