Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

With WP7 coming out in few months what is the future of the 6.5 development roms? I realize that 6.5 phones will still be around but will Microsoft continue its support?

Regards

Don't quote me....From what I heard, WP7 phones will be the higher end primary phones but, 6.5 will still be around for low cost phones.

I guess with some of the shorcomings of WP7 (no flash cards, no older apps, and a few other things), a lot of people will still use 6.5 for a while...so, I guess it's a good reason for them to work on it...

I hope for now they keep updating it, as I hate 6.1 now...

It only lets me see the main folder, I can't read anything (it just won't open a message).
I can't create a New Message.
And my folder structure is not available.
Is there a way to build the "Normal Email" into my ROM?
I see that it is hard to build Threaded Email into a ROM, but is it just as hard to build it out?
I know this is a month ago, but I just had this EXACT issue with two TP2's, one upgraded to stock 6.5 and one to Sprint lover's! I searched for a day and kept doing partial restores until I narrowed it down. To fix this issue - erase \windows\webview.dll It was restored over the 6.5 ver and the cause of this exact issue. Maybe this will help someone hunting for why their emails don't open.
