Thanks conflipper for the dpi files. I you have access to a wqvga, I'd be interested.

And for what it's worh, I've compared vga/wvga/qvga and it seems that qvga version of WelcomeCenter_Lang_0409 is not the same as the 2 others (missing setuppcsync and 4 wcml+rgu are different).

Are you building with Windows Live? That caused a non-booter for me on this build.

anyone have problem with ime switch for 21215? That is after you install any virtual keyboard you cannot switch it on, it only return the default keyboard. I wonder what caused that.

You have a CDMA Diamond, right? Use the SYS/XIP here:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=67010

Otherwise, just port to TP, if that's the case.

CDMA Touch Pro, my boss has the Diamond, but I'm not planning on trashing his phone....

dan-htc-touch already ported XIP's for 21215, unless something went awry in the process. Anyone here have 21215 booting on CDMA Touch Pro with Dan's XIP?

The SYS I linked too will likely work for your TP. You may need to swap out WINCEnls, .rom, and .vm folders from a working TP sys, but maybe not..

Well, something isn't right. I just cooked a totally clean rom, same problem. I've never ported a XIP before. So I don't really know where to go from here. Is it possible that it it NOT my XIP and something in the base?

I replaced the .ROM with the one from a working 21501 and the wincenls from 21501, both in the base. Recooking now, we will see what happens...

*BOOM!!!* That did it. I'm up. Great job on the XIP dan, hope I didn't hurt your feelings :D

Thanks for the tip indagroove.

Now, can anyone answer me as to WHY that did it?

But we haven't seen any 216xx releases yet. Please post link, sounds like BS to me.

The fact is that this sys is faster, and seems pretty dang stable.

See conflippers post here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...54678&page=329. Also, Dan-htc-touch posted the ported xips somewhere near there...

But, you will have to do a bit of work to get it to boot (at least I did anyhow).

We have seen a 21613 builds it was a hex build. Leaked out on April 14.

21215, if somone is calling it a rebadged 216xx, they need to look closer.

*The DSM have had test Cert removed.

*The Timb Bomb Code is removed 100%, not just patched, but actually removed.

*The signing of some of the .exe and .dll are different. stuff we have never seen before. being signed by "Windows CE Mobile prebuilt pacage contents"

*PIE is improved to where when you double tab it does not go to the lower right hand corner like it use to.

*Flashlite is newer in here, then in all previous builds.

*Scrolling is sped up and everything else

So my thouhgts is that if this is a Hex off 21613(21613 was a hex of 21202), and the guy that did a lot of work, changing the Build path in certain drivers, and the build date, and everything, (A LOT OF DIFFERENT THINGS, A LOT OF WORK), and he then went and had time to improve other areas of the rom, then All I have to say to that hexer is WOW. he needs to find a new job, so he dont have time to hex SYS.

But my own personal thoughts are that this is a real build, and not at all hexed or anything.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Here is the 21502 Common. This can be used in PPCK, or it can be used in other kitchens just copy the folders out. This is a 21502 release.

At this time 21215 is built a week later the 502. So 21215 is the latest. I have not flashed to test this yet, so I cant make a lot of comments about it.

215 did not have SMS Sync and Touch Vibrations, 502 has both of these. 502 is a MS internal build. and 215 is an HTC Build. So that will give you some idea about what is going on with the files.

Happy cooking everyone.
