Thanks

Its not set up for verizon touch pro, this kitchen supports any device on any carrier.
Check out CoolSac's kitchen he uses VK as his base, or you can build an UNPROTECTED rom with your current kitchen, then dump the .nbh with visual kitchen

Well, I'm debating posting the kitchen, mainly due to time constraints, but we'll see.

The differences are mainly a few things.

1. The GSM has a native 6.5 kernel so there is no real need to recmod seeing as you have 96MB of Slot (not counting slot 63) allocation before running into Slot 0. CDMA users have a 6.q kernel and must convert a lot of modules to files to avoid filling up Slot 0 (VERY BAD).

2. The device drivers are slightly different due to slightly different hardware (I think it's mainly the radio, but I could be wrong and others may correct me).

3. I believe you also have a different os.nb.payload/XIP depending on the kitchen you are using.

I'm sure there are a few other minor differences, but the key is making sure your kitchen is configured for a Herman if it's CDMA, or Raphael if it is GSM, else bad things could happen (mainly, just a no booter). Also, some kitchens give the choice of choosing whether or not you have a native 6.5 kernel or not, choose wisely :D

If anyone would like to add/correct this, please by all means :)

I'm on 23030, no problems here. 23030 seems to very a very peppy and stable build all together, so far.

I was working with the Oem Mega (you can see the link here in the forum), but doesn't work 100%, at least in 0C0A.
But you can extract new album, audio manager, arcsoft, and some new oem packages.

Thanks and excellent support me
thanks a lot. i will cook and revert you back

Hey joojoobee666, since the loss now of Calkulin to PPCgeeks I now need to move back to the ppc kitchen and or the nightmare visual kitchen which is complicated. I saw your posts for the ppc kitchen files for 23030 and would like to use them. I know where to place them in the ppc kitchen but have no clue on what txt files to setup to cook up a rom from that base. If you have a chance can you post your project files for the kitchen. I have not used the ppc kitchen for almost a year and a half.

I was not sure where to insert the herman xip so I injected it to the Herman_Core.rar Meh, not sure if this is right.

Many thanks in advance,

Mikee
