I guess we want you to share your shell32.exe since apparently yours does not have the timebomb.

I already posted my QVGA SYS a few pages back, I haven't tested the timebomb issue though.

the xip's are all device specific, but I have one for every device ppck supports, and a couple extra, and in ther all rar is sys common, and the 202 dpi's sys is not device specific

I'm loving the 21500 build. Much faster, only wish that i could port the xip.

I'm stuck in the 2nd boot screen, only when i made my own ROM w/ PPCKitchen

I have ported 21500 XIP for Hermes, here it is :)
Hey... honeycomb works, as never before :D and 25MB of free RAM on Hermes, without any tweaks yet.

did it lighten and then darkened the screen? If yes, then you have your xip ported well. Then check in temp\dump if all the packages are included....

I am having almost the same issue. I made my own kitchen with the QVGQ SYS posted yesterday, used your Titan.xip, but I get stuck at the second boot screen. My radio light comes on and starts blinking, but thats it. (so drivers are good, I assume) I created some new kitchen config files for your base and cooked a ROM, same problem. After a while the screen just goes black. I also noticed that I STILL don't have the nueKernel showing up on the initial post screen. I made some config changes and am flashing it now. I will see what happens in 5 mins. I did verify that the Titan_21500.bin was in the ROM temp folder this time, so we will see...

Update:
Yup, that was it. It musta been cooking the wrong xip in...

I could not get a rom to boot using the stuff posted here before, I ended up taking da_g's sys and cleaning it up for ppckitchen use, no problems now

Check back on my post, I updated it. My problem was the xip.

Now I wonder if my own kitchen would have run fine after finding my config file mishap.

Update: uh oh, somethings not right still. I have no Titanium Home screen. Dan, I see the BronzeNonEA is missing Titanium configs for QVGA devices. Could this be my issue?

The home screen: happened to me before.

LMK whats up, I'm getting another SYS and trying it out. I'm nowhere near experienced with Straight up ROM building, except through PPCKitchen.

P.S. - I deleted that post about the same bootscreen issue, I had saw that Dan-htc-touch had already replied before i posted. lol

Dan, the 21500 common BronzeNonEA is missing the QVGA cpr files. I manually put them in the windows folder and Titanium is fixed. Maybe you want to update the kitchen you posted? I will manually update my copy, but FYI.

BTW, thx for all the goodies:headbang:

NP. Speaking of which, are yours updated with larger fonts and re-arranged? I accidentally overwrote the wrong ones yesterday, and only have 240x320 with larger fonts. When I slide out, the date fonts shrink and the carrier is positioned below the clock (as opposed to above in 240x320).

dan-htc-touch 04-09-2009 05:07 PM

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

nah, all mine are carrier below now, it put all connection info on bottom line, including wifi, so makes more sense that way
