I'll see what I can do with it. Hopefully we can get inside the RAR file.
*thinking in my head: That's what she said :-O its 119mb, too? This thing must be preloaded with tons of crap. The ROMs you've released Tplane are what....around 70ishMB? |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
So friends
http://rapidshare.com/files/21896118...g_0804.7z.html Looks suspicious, but anyway.... gwes is a bit smaller than in 21202, shell32 - smaller.... the rest is like 21202. OK it's a chance to check it. |

anyway if you want to dump that flash.nb0, you need to nbsplit with -kaiser option, then imgfsfromnb with the payload to get the bin and finally imgfstodump with the bin as far as I remembered |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Build date on 21500 is Mar 24, 2009
Which is (coincidentally? no) the same build date as 21202 Go figure :) Actually, wait, i take that back, 21500 is ONE day newer than 21202, 21202 is Mar 23 Please don't tell me they pushed the number up and went RTM, it's not ready :( lol |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
maybee it's not ready because all we get over here is second hand modified junk

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
I am going to go with fake on this one as well. Take a look at the sysversion output. Pay special attention to that last line. But this could be due to the two modules not having a proper version. But, regardless, I doubt this is real build. A lot of the modules look exactly the same as 21202. And the build was one day later? I don't know..
Code:
SYSversion 1.2 by MrVanx - 2008 |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Going beyond the .dsm's (why does anyone pay attention to these easily hacked files? :))
Look into the code.. you can see several debug sections of code removed, the build number matches up in all the compiled modules that contain it, and the dates/times also match up.. there are none of the typical indications that it's a hex edited build.. if anything, it would be a build generated from the internal system, with the build number incremented.. but again, that doesn't really qualify as fake.. :) It's 'fake' in the sense that there aren't any major changes from the previous build, but it's compiled a whopping 1 day later, so you can't really expect that. :) |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
dont know if fake or not only thinks i see are the weather widget now working again and i cannot get the ringtone working and the new pie is working fine so i might just used these to 21202 :headbang:

Either we have a REALLY REALLY good hacker, or this is not fake. All the debug sections of code have been removed and all the build #'s match up in all the compiled modules. So basically this has been built with the proper build #'s. Again, if its fake, the person that made it is VERY good. Regardless, my initial impressions is the 21500 build is VERY VERY FAST. Possibly all that debug code being yanked has sped it up considerably. :) |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
i just made some changes to my romhdr removed not needed stuf so LITE 21500 is really faster then previous builds :protest:

Real or not, here is diamond payload. I have tested and it works OK. Enjoy :)
EDIT: You can get the sys from Da_g's kitchen and copy over to whichever kitchen you are using. Be sure to add wince.nls and you should be good to go. |

The WM6.5 Build 21500 is Chinese (0804) right? Does anyone has the WWE (0409) link, because the only link i found was of CHN (0804) :( and is this build worth being build upon?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
yeah, for all that downloaded the chs stuff, just replace all the lang stuff with 0409 stuff, and you should be good to go, build a good fast rom for my titan, I used all lang and dpi from 21202, since they are pretty much the same build without the debug routines of course

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
21500 showed up 4 days ago under aku 6.5, but now it is aku 5.0, that gave me a hint right away it was modify, dsm are easily hacked, but look deeper into them, dsm dependents refer to 21202, this is another hint, next look to see if .dll are in the modules. I have an htc stock vga 21202, so I know how everything should look. that is from a htc twin test 6.5 rom

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
regardless if it's real or not, all the apps that were broken in previous builds are now working for me.. youtube and whatnot, plus it's fast
