my observations exactly. i dont know if everyone's using any special kitchen or tools for cooking this build. But I use Bepe's plateformbuilder kitchen for cooking my ROMs :( I get stuck on splash screen itself :( Hope to see some helpful replies to this problem

Maybe I should try PPCKitchen. I do need an excuse to anyway, since Guru says it's better. I've used it lots of times with the ppckitchen base and oems, but never with my own, so I guess I'll have to look at the profects file, and figure out how to configure. Can you just throw your OEM/SYS/ROM folders in the build os folder and cook or something, or do they have to be zipped and a txt project file made?

Also, has anyone successfully build ad booted a 21159 CDMA Diamond ROM? I haven't seen any yet, and was wondering if it may be a bunk XIP. I think the error I was getting was something like the end address of the xip was smaller than the start address. I'm no XIP genius, so what the heck is up with that? I tried inserting into another payload with XIPortEx, but it didn't work, and had some other error. That's why I wonder if the Diamond XIP is bunk.

i've got a bootable ROM i was playing w/last night for the diamond. i'll upload it, but it's definitely not fully functional.

in order to get the rom to boot i found i had to insert the XIP included on the 1st post, and to deselect the majority of the OEM's

I have gotten it working, but it did take me a little time since I'm kind of a n00b lol. I'm using the sys and payload from Con's post on page 31, and the XIP from the very first post.

Edit: Doh! I'm just too slow...

alright, here's a booting 6.5 rom for the diamond. still need to go through and work it over. this was a combination of the new SYS, and a 6.5 diamond ROM i pulled apart over on xda, but i plan to go back through the original one here as soon as i get some coffee.

give it time to boot, it takes a few mins -

NOT fully functional for day-to-day use yet (sprint carrier w/functional phone)

*alright, got my coffee in hand... i'm uploading the ROM folder w/the xip already inserted, maybe it will help some people out.

i plan to sit down later this afternoon and see if i can't dig through this sys a little more.

so, when using sliding panels, there is a brief animation as focus changes, anyone know how to disable this? I think disabling it would speed up scroll action in titanium a great deal

saw this while reading over the thread:

A Little Tip to help a few of you speed up everything.

switch off the interface animation of your own necessary change (SYS \ OS under RGU-ri).
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ GWE]
"EnableAnimations" = dword: 1
