Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Can't seem to get the xip settings right with the 21815 vogue settings.
It just sits on the boot screen.... What I'm I doing wrong. I put the common, and sys files in the kitchen folder. The Vogue_21815_xip.BIN into the Vogue_Core.rar\ROM folder. Then added this to the the Vogue_WM6.1.txt file: XipFilename=Vogue,WM6.5_21815,Vogue_21815_xip.BIN And finally made a new Build base file for 21815 Did I miss a step? I did this just fine with the 21806 port. Thanks! |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
@joojoobee666: Still no go man! this is making me mad! I tried building with both 21806 and your provided 21815 96 dpi files but it gives same results, what could be wrong? The xip is ported 100% correctly, the OEM i am using is exact copy of the one i am using with all the previous builds since 21222 came out, SYS is perfectly ok, i counted files in the sys on a per folder basis and matched it with 21234 extracted from the emulator, its all perfect! Never happened before with me.
But there is one thing i noticed, why this build doesn't have the dnsapi.dll file in SYS\OS folder? I copied this file from 21812, can this be the cause of problem? It doesnt seems like that to me. Help! |

try these things 1 first thing i would check is to see if the 21815 xip is being injected, check for these lines about 50 lines up from the bottom of your build staus screen Making ROM ImgfsToNb 2.1 RC2 Initializing Injecting XIP (Vogue_21815.bin). Using default pagepool settings 2 is WinCENLS_WWE folder in your common? 3 change the .rom folder from a booting common, if 21806 boots ok use that one test the 21815 xip with the 21806 files to see if it boots , in your Vogue_WM6.1.txt file change this XipFilename=Vogue,WM6.5_21806,Vogue_21806_xip.BIN to say XipFilename=Vogue,WM6.5_21806,Vogue_21815_xip.BIN then build a rom with the 21806 see if it boots |

As to your other issues, are you sure you don't have any overlapping modules? Is that happening on a completely clean ROM/kitchen? |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Yes everything else is clean, but i cant say whether WMReloc is doing its job properly or not.
