Now you have me curious. What was the original problem? Errors during build or won't boot? If it was an error, what error? If it was a won't boot type of thing, giftwrap a kitchen exhibiting this problem and I'll take a look.

It's the same like WM6.1 builds...

Have you tried it in old Bepe?

I don't have a diamond, so zip up a kitchen (tools and all) exhibiting this phenomenon and I'll take a look at it. Verify the attrib change to just the files in that post fixes it, all other factors held constant.

If you want a faster turnaround, try applying the attrib changes to the dump folder instead of to the base. If the rom still has the issue, it's your build tools causing the problem. If the rom doesn't have the issue, then I'm very curious why the same phenomena doens't occur in ppck.

Regarding the LZX compression, where do I put the cecompr.dll file? I put it in my rom/XIP folder but the resulting rom doesn't boot...

Directly into the XIP.bin file and check for overlaps

How exactly is this done? I don't even have a xip.bin with the kitchen I'm using (calkulin). Do I have to extract it somehow? Thanks
