You might be right there sir, gps works great on my phone without any of these settings you guys are talking about. Dont use ppc kitchen yet, I have it downloaded, but not yet had time to do enough reading to make me start using it.
Maybe its because I am comfortable with the kitchen I use, but I have enough sense to know there is no way I can avoid using ppc kitchen because some SYS posted from here make other kitchen tools look helpless and useless.

Done, and I probably SHOULD have done that first.

You should go through the basic troubleshooting steps - repeat the problem with a squeaky clean rom, and, if you can repeat it w/ a clean rom, then repeat the problem with stock. If it works on stock, flash back to your clean rom and see if it's magically fixed. If you've done those 3 things and you don't have the issue with stock but do have it with clean, then it's bound to be a basekit issue.

The easiest way I fix this problem is usually a reflash of the radio. Don't know why GPS occasionally seems to lose it's ability to lock, but it happens. There might be some easier, safer way to recover gps functionality than flashing your radio, but I've never looked any further into it.

Mine too. Well, 3 out of 4 devices, anyway. My Apache's internal GPS never seems to work for me. :)

New bepe is good stuff, though not for beginners. It's just the old bepe buildoses (which, sadly, 95% of you are using) that should be retired. You should be able to take ppck's basekits and turn them into basekits for bepe's tools with little issue.

Ever figure out your attributes problem? And did you have that w/ old or new bepe? I would guess new bepe doesn't have that issue.

If you're working 20771, then there are lot's of newer bases to entertain you.
