Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Out of curiousity, I just built a 23502 ROM, buuuut it's displaying 24HR clock... How would I fix this?
--- Could I just throw this in to an RGU file? [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International] Keys: "iTime"="0" "iTLZero"="0" "sTimeFormat"="h:mm:ss tt" |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Overriding Kitchen\SYS_23081_Common.rar:WinCENLS_WWE with Kitchens\SYS_23081_96DPI_0409.rar:\WinCENLS_WWE |

Thanks for the goods! Does 23081 contain the org files for the exchange server or is it from a past version? Just wondering... |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
syncmgr.dll was pulled from the 23071 files.

hmmmm, the only thing that I see different then any other build is the WinCENLS_WWE folder in both the dpi and common, and did not see it overwrite. Not where I can recook and test this though. Don't know if that would do this or not though. |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
well I can confirm that this is an IE only problem. All other data works.
Any of the programs that require a data connection are working properly. Guess I will address this when I get home. |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
I'm not having the IE or wake up issue on 23081.
|
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
I have IE working now. Gonna narrow down what it is. All I have changed out is the 3 brows**** folders from 23075

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Yeah, that's the point i think, UI Changes are one aspect but i noticed going through the different builds Voice Command has been touched but WMWidgets doesn't seem to change anymore. Knowing registry and filesize changes would bring more light how exactly what are they doing from one build to another, than we could focus trying to see real impact on those different area. That's maybe just a crazy idea, yet.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Looks like the IE problem is only a problem with my files, sorry. :( I am trying to identify what happened and I will have them updated shortly.
Update: I think I found the issue. Stay tuned. UPDATE 2: Issue found. The mshtml.dll file was stuck halfway through being recmodded, causing it to be skipped entirely. My bad. I am going to be updating the original PPCKitchen post here with instruction on manually fixing the common files you may have already downloaded. Check it in about 5 mins from now, while I upload and verify. Cab to fix can be found here (thanks to mattsm for testing and verifying:occasion5:) http://www.4shared.com/file/14392282...for_23081.html |
