edit: just bout everything is laggin' like crazy. tryin' to see if 1)it's just the build, 2) it's the build cuz there's something new being added, if so can i add or remove something to fix this, or 3) it's me/bad flash. neone one with feedback asap is very much appreciated...

you know i was having this like crazy today..
i thought it was because ive been tweaking my oem_drivers but now im not sure.
i couldnt even make a call or use any phone feature cause it seemed like there was crazy amounts of latency.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

hello

i cooked a 32016 rom from the updated files posted by joojoo (thanks) but i have the following problems:

- when i get a text sms message, i do not get any notification sound...i try settings & changing to another tone but still no luck...i just see my messages later because the phone does not alert me

- the internet explorer does not have zoom anymore

- when i boot, it takes longer & cmpared to old builds you get a wired black then white screens before you see the welcome screen...these sceens still pop with each soft reset too not just after the hard reset

- sometimes when i click start on today screen it would not get the start menu up...it just stay on today (titanium) and i have to soft reset to get start to respond to touch agaiin

any one having same issues? any fix? any ideas?

thanks

I'm using a modified version of Calk's kitchen for TP: how difficult would it be to use your Ervius VK to replace it?

I mainly "scrub" the SYS and OEM folders to hone them down. The rest of the kitchen is left "stock"

I've been wanting to make the move, but not sure what I would need to do to transition smoothly, or at least w/minimal pain ;P

Thanks - DA

It's really quite easy. There's a good thread to discuss it here:

Sysver doesn't report much of a change in these modules.

Attached is the unported xip.bin that I extracted from the .dio file.

Untested, as I don't need it in the visual kitchen.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

I dunno if it's just me or what, but my carrier (sprint) no longer shows in the clock panel in titanium on 23017. Anyone else?

It looks like this:

..but normally like this:

EDIT: I seem to be having the issue on 23016 now too -- must be a carrier problem.
