The trick now is how to disable the default 3.5 from PPCKitchen???

Yes it does, therefor no other oem is needed. no selections for this is needed.

Ok, so the 3.5 that ppckitchen installs is the same as the SYS one? Just FYI I went and deleted the folder NETCF35 from addition.rar and that bypassed it, trying with SYS 3.5 will report finding.

Thank you both!

EDIT: Ok, I used the SYS 3.5 and...

Same results! LOL Microslop buggy build.... Meh... I will just delete the Messenger link and unselect the Live Search and install Bing!

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

The 3.5 that ppck installs is all that is needed. There are not different versions of it. You should have just left it alone and not worried about anything in the .net selections area. You must have placed an oem in user-oems for 3.5 ( I am guessing) that was not needed.

Here you go mate I made this some months ago it worked fine but its big,
I also included net config the net config will show in settings,
If you want to make your own then copy and past netcf35 into netcf2 and overwrite any files/mods:mrgreen: copy all the netcf35 rgu contents into the netcf2 rgu. so rgu is netcf2 plus netcf35,
use netconfig App to set the apps you want to run with each netcf virsion:mrgreen:
hope this helps

you could install net35 from a cab to test if netcf2 was cooked in,

If you still have an issue, it may be because of some other stuff from the sys. I never checked to see if the 23405 GAC files were corrupted. When I get back home I can verify and post an updated common if needed.

About 23405: I have the start button on the up left corner, instead down left corner as usual in last builds. Is this in this way on this build?

Yes. 23405 is based on the COM4 branch which does not have all of the updated UI changes that are in the COM3 branch. They will eventually move all of the changes from COM3 over to COM4.

Hey Joojoobee666, any new COM2 builds? I am inclined more towards these, as i am having a 200 Mhz, 64 MB RAM device, and these builds run a lot faster on these devices. It feels snappier almost like 6.1. Can you please keep people like us updated too, just a humble request. I am currently on 21844 and its running awesome, although 21840 is slightly better than this one.

Ok, here's a clean provxml to get Activesync setup for exchange on boot. Just insert this into a provxml or make it one all by itself.

Code:

<wap-provisioningdoc>

            <parm name="SavePassword" value="1"/>
            </characteristic>
        <characteristic type="Settings">
            <parm name="PeakStartTime" value="0700"/>
            <parm name="PeakEndTime" value="2300"/>

I have my certificate in with my provxml :) The utility that is used to get the cert is here ->http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/...-released.aspx Just grab Version 2. Run it with the mail server as option and it will create an xml file with the cert in it. Just copy the crap out of it and drop it into a provxml (just use the same one). Done ;)

Try these ->http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...67#post4397167

drkfngthdragnlrd fixed these up for something, but I don't know what. Either way, it's just modifying the LS_LockScene_XXXxYYY.cpr files.

a lil over my head with the setup in the xip i think, as of now, but the concept seems pretty sweet

Ok, just got to looking at it today. I'm sure I can get you Titan XIP with the Extendir stuff added in. Just have to do some manual work on the XIP, but thats no problem. I, myself am not going to play around with it, but if you want to, be my guest. Just let me know if you need a XIP or not :)

I would be interested in trying it on the titan. Anything to increase performance and battery life since the titian is not likely to get a decent video driver or native 6.5 kernel. Would it work with 23037?

Yeah, it should work, but realize, that you will lose even MORE ram using this. There are different levels of cache, but I'll do the 2MB version. It goes all the way up to 16MB.

Gimme me a bit and I'll post a 23037 XIP. No promises on anything though:silent:

Ok, heres the Titan XIP with Extendir. I can't test, so....:???:

Anyhow, there are 2 XIPs, one without WinCE.NLS, and one with it in case the one without doesn't boot. Hell, they both may not boot....

Also, you will need to replace the boot.rgu in the Titan_Core.rar\ROM\XIP with the one attached here. Make sure you save the original :)

Super!!!

Oh, before you do, check this other error, Manila 2.1 uses G-Sensor SDK 4, and there is G-Config to configure it, here is the error:

I installed 23405.... Bubble breaker cuts off at the bottom due to the larger bottom row of buttons now (1st try with one of the newer sytle builds).

Does anyone have an updated version of Bubble breaker for the newer builds. I play this one alot now (pretty addicted to it for some reason).

Can I honesty assume that most older apps are going to have problems with this new style ? (if so, I hate it)

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Can someone please give me some guidance? I am using the Vogue 6.5 Kitchen from the first post of this thread. I then removed all the SYS files and replaced them with the new 23037 ones from http://ppcgeeks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77176. I then ran BuildOS which completed and I had the ROM. However, when I flash it i have 21139 on my phone and a bunch of OEM files installed that I did not select in BuildOS.

Forgive my ignorance, but I have been reading and trying to build a 6.5 23037 ROM for the Vogue for the last week (spending an hour or two a day and trying to us PPCK and this kitchen and Ervius Kitchen) and have had 0 luck.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong, missing, or need to change.
