Re: Bolt- The (next) new mobile web browser
Here's what I got in the email:
Dual Signed Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/sz8knu VeriSign Signed Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/vz8knu Thawte Signed Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/tz8knu Unsigned Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/nz8knu It says to use your phones native browser (I assume they mean PIE) and to try them in the order above. I tried the first one and it began to install the jar file, but I got an error message. I tried the other, but it said my time had expired. Oh well. |

I got something similar but not the same exactly. Check it out: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***For BlackBerry devices, you will need to install the unsigned version. Dual Signed Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/svha38 VeriSign Signed Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/vvha38 Thawte Signed Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/tvha38 Unsigned Build: http://boltbrowser.com/b/nvha38 As one of the first people to try out this service, we would really appreciate hearing your feedback! We have created a special site just for beta testers that will enable you to leave feedback, request support, or troubleshoot basic issues via a beta FAQ page. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think they sent me the links for the wrong device. I sent them an e-mail back and hopefully they will reply shortly. |

Re: Bolt- The (next) new mobile web browser
I'm not really all that excited about this for some reason. I'm more than happy with Opera mini/mobile (prefer mobile), Iris browser, and Skyfire. I don't think any of them are the end all be all of mobile browsers but I doubt Bolt is take the cake from any of 'em. I hope they do though as we definitely need an advancement in mobile browsing.
