Ender's Edition was announced July 25, 2008 and was originally branched off of my work up through v0.76 and after that was branched off Burt's edition v6. Basically, he added several features, including contact pictures in the scrolling list. Mine have always focused on speed and stability.

If you want to opt for lots of features, I'd suggest Avian edition over Ender's, since it's being actively developed right now: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=488059

[+] Added "Remove Shortcut" button to details screen if appropriate
[+] Added "createshortcut" and "removeshortcut" to language file
[+] Added contact shortcut icons to start menu shortcuts for Windows Mobile 6.5
[+] Added ability for hardware "*" key to favorite/defavorite a contact
[#] Fixed outgoing calls to numbers with no name displaying [null]
[#] Hid SIP button being displayed by iContactAE
