On my Omnia I need my 'Don't use Keyboard Hook' set to 'OFF'.

Let me know how that looks for you, there is another trick for some devices!!

(P.S. remember to stop + restart iLock2 after any changes in the settings!!)
No such luck. I thought maybe it was the "Keyboard Hook" setting, but still not working. Not too sure how that .lnk file works either which is what is listed on XDA

Re: 1-15-09 S2U2 is now at 1.42 - POWER

Ok, so that what the Volume control does. I dont have it active, but what i have noticed is that when my screen dims and begins to lock, the HTC volume control comes up on the screen and I have to use the "X" to close it and then it goes back to my today screen and a couple of seconds later it locks.

What is that "Keyboard off Hook" setting for?

Re: 1-15-09 S2U2 is now at 1.42 - POWER

There is a customization thread in both here and XDA, but VGA is a bit in the minority:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=28668
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=354111

Here is a good site to go to for VGA themes as well:

Re: 1-15-09 S2U2 is now at 1.42 - POWER

I really wish I had a good answer for you. I didn't want to just post an 'I don't know' but quite honestly I don't!!

A_C has this in the readme: NoKeyBoardHook=1 (not to use the Keyboard Hook to lock the keys; 1 to enable)

(I know....really explains things!!)

He also refers to it as a possible fix for a few issues:

Q. S2U2 consumes a lot of power?!
A. Make sure there is no music player running in the background.
A. Don't use GIF wallpapers.
A. Don't use a folder of wallpapers.
A. Turn off "Show Appointment".
A. Turn off "Show Weather".
A. Turn on "Don't use Keyboard Hook".
A. Turn on "Ignore screen orientation"
A. If any "auto-rotation" application is installed, please add "S2U2" to it's exception list.
A. Turn on "Safe Mode".

Q. My device has Volume Up/Down keys, "Volume Control" is already enable, but still no S2U2's Volume Control come out?
A. By default, "Don't use Keyboard Hook" is enable, it has to be disabled for S2U2 to hook the Volume Up/Down keys.

Q. The Volume Up/Down keys not work even "Volume Control" is already disabled?
A. Turn on "Don't use Keyboard Hook".
