Re: PANDORA for WM is HERE!
No problem opening on TP with stock Sprint Rom. Only plays 3/4 of a song, (juggalo's streaming fix didn't seem to do anything), but thats fine for me since I have ADD when it comes to music. Hopefully on the next version they will improve the sound quality to desktop version, but for something free, who are we to complain...
Yeah, that's right, I'm talking to all you "screw Pandora for not giving me something that works flawlessly right away for free" people. Dump Pandora then, buy an XM subscription, and be on your merry f'n way to a different thread. Last edited by coolwhip1220; 01-31-2009 at 04:20 PM. |

Re: PANDORA for WM is HERE!
Worked first time perfect on my Alltel TP. Yes, I have the screen issue everyone is talking about. Songs play one after the other, buttons work as the first post refers to, etc. I have now played 5 songs in a row without picking up the phone. Pease believe me!!

Re: PANDORA for WM is HERE!
So Pandora 1.1.4 is "PARTIALLY" working on my HTC 8525 now. The application was able to connect to Pandora site and loaded the list of my radio stations, but for some reason it just wouldn't finish the job to play a song without crashing with a "DEBUG ASSERTION FAILED!" pop-up. I also made sure that my proxy server was unchecked before opening the application.
I think I might have an answer to why this is happening: Most of you PDAs/Smartphone users subscribe to ISP connections as your default data plan, and very few of you AT&T subscribers are using MEdia Net (WAP.CINGULAR). The program writer of this posted Pandora.cab probably left out the script to include supporting PDA users with WAP connections for the rest of us, and I believe that might be the cause of it. Would someone please help us on writing a Pandora cab that supports WAP.CINGULAR connections for AT&T users? Thank you!

Re: PANDORA for WM is HERE!
I am not sure how you guys are doing it. I have been trying to get Pandora on my sprint TP for a while now with the same results. It plays part of the song and then goes on to the next. Not even 3/4, maybe 1/2, maybe. I really would like to get this up and working as LASTFM is a poor replacement. Just not the same.
(Pandora just played roughly 20 seconds of 3 songs in the time it took to write this post. grrr) |

Re: PANDORA for WM is HERE!
In my case, it appears to be the installof the .NET framework3.5 changes my behavior from able to play 3/4 of the song to "assertion failed" Stock Sprint Touch Pro ROM.

Re: PANDORA for WM is HERE!
Ok, I have that Debug error on my Sprint Mogul, I tried two different .CAB files and they both do the same error when I start up pandora, there's no way to get it to work so far.... I have WM 6.1 Pro, Not hacked, Sprint did installed the 6.1 version when they sold it to me... is there a way to make it work?? Thanks
