Re: 1/16/10 UPDATE* PANDORA! VGA + Registry fix (iPollesion)!
I have an HTC 6800 on US Cellular - and after trying every ROM I could find, and following tips from tons of different forums - I finally found the fix to the VISUAL C++ DEBUG error on Pandora!!
This comes from "George P" on FluffyPhones.com I thought there was no way this would work, but I had all but given up, so I figured it was worth a shot. Open your windows media player - go to Now Playing - then in the menu - then Shuffle\Repeat - remove any check mark from these - and WALLA! It worked for me ![]() |

Did you try the very last one? " PandoraVGA with Regs.cab" It comes with the fix already.
Don't get why so many have had trouble with this on their pro. Works flawlessly on mine and it's a refurb. Have flashed it, dropped it, lost it, tried the new update people complained about. Guess I got lucky with this one for once in my life. ![]() Would have rather won the lottery tho. Last edited by saibot; 04-20-2010 at 02:41 AM. |

Re: 1/16/10 UPDATE* PANDORA! VGA + Registry fix (iPollesion)!
Yesterday I found a cab for Pandora in a thread that I am currently looking for. If I could find that thread again it would be helpful. It works on my Sprint TP2 with 6.1 stock rom. However, it too stops the song towards the end and then says connecting then goes to the next song. I would like to be able to listen to the entire song before it goes to the next one. I haven't read a fix for that yet, but must admit I haven't looked at every post in this thread. Just toooo long.

The fix for the TP2 is to update to the 6.5 ROM. Use the "PandoraVGA with Regs.cab" all the way at the bottom of the first post of this thread. Plays all the way until the end of each song. Don't know why it didn't work with the old stock rom, but everyone says it works perfect since updating. Make sure to do a hard reset before flashing the new rom for best results.

Thanks for this, I love Pandora.
Omnia i900, the pandora_1.1.10[1].cab (853.1 KB, 1589 views) works, I tried the latest and it would never load the music, it would show the playlists but never connect. Omnia i900 WM 6.1 AT&T |

Re: 1/16/10 UPDATE* PANDORA! VGA + Registry fix (iPollesion)!
Thanks for providing an application that rocks. I was able to install it on my blackjack running wm6.1. Only problem is the sound is barely audible. I have tried other cabs but no luck. I have turned up the volume to the max and I can still barely hear it, yet mp3's sound loud.
Any one know of a fix? If not, no biggie. I'll plan on eventually get an android phone. |

Me too, but I am actually the one who figured it out. This was among one of the most frustrating things I ever encountered with Windows Mobile. So, I am very happy too see that my hard work is paying off and getting everybody's Pandora running like a champ on many different ROMs. Happy Pandora-ing!!!
