1/16/10 UPDATE* PANDORA! VGA + Registry fix (iPollesion)!

HTC Fuze here, ATT ROM Just udpated my ROM FUZE_RUU_Raphael_Cingular_US_5.11.502.2_Radio_Sign _Raphael_52.64c.25.35_1.14.25.35_Ship.exe

1. After Update, soft-reset to avoid bloatware install, installed security, Opera, and Touch Flo.

Downloaded "VGA+Ivan" from the 1st Post

Copied to storage card, ran CAB from file explorer, installed to storage card.

Launched app from file explorer, and . . .

Works great! Songs play through, and controls are working. Sounds like low bitrate doo-doo, but free and easy is good enough for me. Thanks all!

OK. Spoke too soon. Minor issue, though, seeing what others have gone through.

I am having the same problem where the program does not show up in the task manager or running programs. I can't quit or switch back to it. I have to use the application in file explorer to get back to the program window. Only then can I close the program.

Just installed VGS+IVAN1 on a Touch HD and it works great. Text is a litte small but I can now see the buttons and they work.

Got it to play the whole Song on touch pro stock rom!!!!
To get Pandora working on your Touch Pro:
1. Download the Pandora.cab
2. If you don’t already have it, download Advanced Config Tool 3.3
3. Install both applications and open Advanced Config Tool (ACT)
4. While in the ACT, navigate to Network>TCP Window and change the value to 98304
5. Save your changes, and soft-reset.
6. Download VGA-Pandora.zip (pandora.exe)
7. Replace the orginal .exe (in \Program Files\Pandora\Pandora.exe) with the pandora.exe from within VGA-Pandora.zip on the original post

you will need Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 3.5 to install avanced config tool. available here:

Like syanni85 said, the uninstall leaves the program folder wherever you installed it. The uninstall mainly removes shortcuts and references to the .exe and cleans the registry.

If you re-install to the same location (My Storage or Storage Card), most programs will not overwrite existing data files. Thus your login and password info is still available and detected by the program.

One exception to this I've found is G-Alarm. You will have to import alarms and settings or recreate them if you uninstall/reinstall or flash to another ROM.

I found Pandora to work on my Omnia i910 using ROM CC20 and all of Adrylanyne's ROMs I used. I didn't try any of his base or M2D ROMs, though.

It worked from the git-go. Only little glitch was getting a keyboard to appear. That was originally solved with programming a button to the keyboard. The cab was downloaded from Pandora's site. Portrait and Landscape using auto-rotation works just hunky dory.

I did not try it with Verizon's original BJ28 ROM.

This is what we should be working on. Not making it look better. I dont think there is a way though. I think thats on their side. Sucks. Some stations sound 16bit at times.
