Re: Gscroll For Diamond and Touch pro

Great concept and also a very reasonable price. I think with a few fixes this really has great potential.

I really like seeing useful programs/utilities priced right! The author should be commended and encouraged to keep it up...

Yeah, it's not hard though. Just go look in your programs list at what you want then type \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Camera.lnk (camera.lnk is an example for the camera of course.)

I've got double tap back for task facade, double tap home for file explorer, double tap phone (left) for wifi toggle, and double tap phone hangup (right) for opera browser.

I initially had my screen sensitivity turned way up, but after installing this app I set it back to default and it feels more comfortable to use, like you won't accidentally start an app.

For tap and tilt mode I've got it set to send scroll only, and for panel swipe mode I use directional keys only. Tap and tilt is useful for things like the program list; just double tap the center circle in the dpad, then tilt the phone to slide. Good for when I've got my phone in my left hand, and trying to get my left thumb over to the scroll bar just never works.

edit: the tap tilt function isn't working now lol. Maybe the high sensitivity is actually needed?

Re: Gscroll For Diamond and Touch pro

I managed to fix my issue with other apps not showing up. I noticed in my programs folder I also had a couple of .exe files. After moving them, all of my apps appeared.

double tap is hit or miss

Just bought the program, not too impressed with it.
I had the smart settings turned on and it was very responsive. To responsive actually. Whenever I touched th bottom of the phone, it would just go all over the place - up, down, next tab, back - and that's without swiping. Just touching.

The double tap however seems to be almost none-responsive. I have the Home button set to SecondToday and I keep tapping my little heart out - sometimes it works, sometimes (most times) it doesn't.

Needs to be more reliable. More configurable.
Also would be nice to include not just exe files for the shortcuts, but anything I would like bring up, like my shopping/honey-do list in notes.

Especially bothersome: The zoom feature in Pictures don't work any more.

Re: Gscroll For Diamond and Touch pro

i think i agree. Still needs work. Instead of just being able to roll your finger to scroll, needs to read that it's an actual swipe. Also, app launching needs improvement. It would be really cool if I could just launch an app by drawing two circles around an icon.

uninstalled until further updates.

On a side note, because it's done this every time so far, uninstall is buggy and can leave your phone unresponsive...

Re: Gscroll For Diamond and Touch pro

There's a new version just released. Pocketnow did an article about it, along with a video demonstration.

Here's the link to the app's homepage, but the download demo link is broken.

You can download the demo from pocketnow's app store: http://software.pocketnow.com/product.asp?id=23800

Used it before but didn't stick with it. Tried 2.0 earlier but every button except the center button is very unresponsive (actually will rarely register 2 taps at all). Not sure why? Not compatible with WM6.5 perhaps?
