Ok I know this is posted else where I just cant seem to find it, and I did do a search, the question is whether i did it right, lol. You found a program to make the bars look cool, is there any chance of one out there or a way out there to get rid of the damn bars all together ??
Thanks in Advance

There is a reg hack to get rid of the bottom, but not the top. you have to use pocketmax (i think) which costs

Thanks, I did a quick internet search and it seems that there are two programs called toggle new, and toggle start that seem to do it sort of ok...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=243211 It only works with 2003 but there is a beta link to the ones that work for 2005

here is the link to it if anyone wants to check it out thanks ls6tt

I just checked out this little program. It's pretty nifty, lets my theme on my 6700 look identical to the touch (minus the whole touchflo thing...but oh well I'm new to all this, maybe some day I'll have that too)

I actually kind of like this better than WBA...definitely less of a resource hog.

Thanks for posting the link!

New version! SkinMobile5 v1.1 is now out.

It works a little better, but when you are in a program, lthe bottom bar goes back to normal. But, thats better than it used to be! I have a black theme, so when I use the app with the balck bars, it hard to notice the bottom bar being different.

It's in German (I think, lol) though. Basically the interface gives you arrows to change the colors of the theme, then there is three buttons with words. The top one takes you back to the first color choice, the bottom left accepts your choice, and the bottom right removes and closes the app.

phoenx06..q'stion. Does it still have that little square area on the top right when running programs like Magicbutton, also does it mess up when switched to landscape mode? That's the 2 things i didn't like, although i still use it. In landscape mode, the start menu gets over layed w/ the "ok" (i guess it doesn't realize that it's in lanscape and still buts the "ok" *or 'X'* button on the corner as if it's still in portrait. Does v1.1 still do that?

It's working well.

Just a bummer about no "ClearType". I'm not sure I can use my device without it

Also, the "lil box" thing? Has to be b/c you are running a 3rd party app like HTC's X out program or a menu, or something that changes the default function of "X".
