Guys, come on! The best iPhone app, hands down, is Koi Pond. Windows Mobile needs a Koi Pond!!!

Re: [UPDATED 4/1/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App
I just thought this little game deserved a spot in this thread.
Billy - GSen game for HTC devices After a request in this forum that mentioned a IPhone game called "Falling Balls" and a look at a video showing the game in action, I thought it was simple enough to be ported to WindowsMobile. http://www.pocketplayers.info/Joomla...illy/billy.jpg You control Billy, the poor haunted man by tilting your device and should guide him as long as possible through all those flying balls without being hit. That's all about it - have fun and enjoy! Re: [UPDATED 4/1/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App
There is a iphone app that allows you to spoof your callid info so you can call your friends and make them think your someone else.
Any app for winmo that will do that? |
Re: [UPDATED 4/1/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App
Guess you should update with the official MS Facebook app.

Re: [UPDATED 4/1/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App
"There is an iPhone application called Camera Bag. The simulation options are Helga, Instant (looks like a Polaroid), 1962, Fisheye, Infrared, Lolo (think their take on Lomo), Cinema (looks widescreen like the movies), and 1974. With the years, I think they are trying to go for the look of movies from that year in time."
Is there any kind of application available for the TP? |

I wonder how many people are in the iPhone forums looking for clones of WM apps?
|
Re: [UPDATED 4/1/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App

Re: [UPDATED 4/1/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App
OP, might want to update the thread with hdwobble/iwobble/iboobs: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=70976
I remember thinking we'd never get this app cloned. I believe apple took this app down after a while due to its content, don't quote me though. |

Re: [UPDATED 6/9/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App
This is a very good thread. There is no reason that similar apps couldn't be made for WM. I only wish that we could get beauty with functionality. Many of the WM apps look bland.

Also check out "hdBoobs" (the windows mobile version of iBoobs):

It's funny how so many people say that WM has almost every app that iPhone has + more, but nobody can seem to really come up with the same apps that we're asking for. |

When one reads the comments - sounds nice but not functional in the real world.

I figured someone would do it. I'm just sick of people coming up with half-***** solutions to iPhone apps and claiming they do the same thing when they don't. |
Re: [UPDATED 6/9/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App
I've been checking out these "augmented" apps for the iPhone, and they seem really sweet. I'm a big twitter-er, tweeter?... I use twitter a lot, and this app would be pretty cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Vbh7...eature=related
The concept of looking at things around you based on GPS and camera see through is really neat, wish WM would have something like this. It could be used for tons of stuff. Another idea, an app that shows you nearest gas stations and their prices based on augmented reality. The possibilities are pretty endless for what this could be applied to. |

And I don't care how much you tell me Windows Live is the same as Urban Spoon or any other app, it's a crappy piece of software. The maps are ugly, it's hard to use, and it wastes my time even installing it when it disappoints me every time I use it. It's such a pain, I don't even use the gas function (the only positive aspect of Windows Live), I just drive around till I give in or find the cheap gas myself. Too much of a pain to use. C'mon Microsoft, step it up! Gah. |
Re: [UPDATED 6/9/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App

problem is, it's not just microsoft... the devs for WM aren't doing anything about it either. Apple doesn't make UrbanSpoon. |
Re: [UPDATED 6/9/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App

why can't a dev who creates Apple apps, create a WM app at the same time? I understand, two different OS, and possibly other things, but it doesn't seem like much of a jump. I don't know anything about coding/programming, and this is clearly my opinion, how uninformed it may be. I also understand Apple has 1 model, whereas there are quite a bit more phones that carry WM (different ROMs, different screens, different resolutions, etc.)... it's just frustrating. Why can't an Apple app be ported or at least an iPhone emulator. If it's possible to create PSP, SNES, etc emulators then why hasn't (someone prolly has I bet) someone tried it? just a thought, just sending it out there... |
Re: [UPDATED 6/9/09]This iPhone App = This WinMo App
it's possible to get the iPhone OS to run, through a virtual machine.... but doing so would make it pretty slow and worthless...
