I think U have only 3 options in status..."online, away or busy". You can change the status under main menu. Cheers. |

My Yahoo messenger contact does not appear. My AIM and Skype contacts do appear. Any advice on the Yahoo issue?

Re: Free Calls, Chat, Messaging and more on your mobile phone
its ok if u have yahoo registered thru other communities...when u try adding yahoo to nimbuzz, it will ask u "do u want to UN-register from other places?"...u just say "NO".. thats it..now u will be in both the places. |

Re: Free Calls, Chat, Messaging and more on your mobile phone
After a little more usage on Nimbuzz, it's not as stable as I first thought.
I made and received a few Skype contact calls over the first few days but since then it's 50 / 50 weather the call connects or not. I know my skype contact was on line and hard wired to their modem so it had to be either a Nimbuzz issue or CDMA coverage. It kept ringing as if it was ringing on my Touch as if it was ringing out but never rang the Skype contact's computer at the other end. with many more test calls over the weekend the sucess rate is about 30% I think I need to check my Sprint reception. ff toppic: how can I check my signal strength and anyone know how good it needs to be to hold a VOIP call? |

Re: Free Calls, Chat, Messaging and more on your mobile phone
This thing is great but it does have problems. First of all you CAN call people in your phone's phonebook with VOIP. If it works. For awhile it was, then it started to use the regular phone. A reinstall fixed it.
Secondly no Skype out. You can only contact those with skype who are online. But nobody shows up as being online, nor do I. You can send them a message letting them know you want to talk. It will 'wake up' their status of you so that you show up as being online. Then they can call you, but you still can't call them. The MSN part works great. I haven't tried putting an international number in my phone's phonebook to see if I can use voip internationally. I don't know if it would dial properly. |
