ok this is a push to talk beta thingy I have the cab file but got to sign up at the site its free try it out the site is www.palringo.com

After you sign up then join the Official PPCGeeks group at Palringo. Type in "PPCGeeks" (without the quotes) to join!!!

Yeah... It looks like it might be pretty cool, but when I downloaded the .cab, and installed it, there was no way to sign in or sign up. It's just a floating program that I can't do anything with...

did any of you go to the website and sign up for the beta like you are supposed to do? thats why we are all waiting for approval. they will mail us a username and passcode. due to high volume you have a to wait a bit.

yea I went there and signed in and am awaiting them to send an e-mail to me.

did anyone get an email from Palringo yet? i am dying to try this out

heck no no approvalhere yet I think they quit aproving folks :( but I dunno I igned up as soon as I seen this post and still nothing.

tell them that didnt recieve ur password in an email, of course u have to sign up first......and after u do dont forget to join our group ;)

wonder why invalid. after sign up follow jacks lead and send a email to them and you will quickly get a new one maybe. this program is amazing. EVERYONE needs to get it. imagine aol private chat room but are able to send audio(push to talk), text, & pics. also pm's. tech777 you are amazing!

Seems to be working now. It just wouldn't allow me to download directly to my phone. Now I just gotta try it out...

Also, how how is the PPCGeeks group listed. It says no such group. I am sure it is something I am doing wrong on my end.

I got that too. All I did was click the contact us link and ask for the login info and I had it within 30 minutes.

Bunny, I got that a couple of times.... It is ppcgeeks all lower case.

Looks like if you go into the general setting you can uncheck the "beep on new messages" option and it will not beep you will in the program and it just shows the voice reponses without playing them.

However, this is going to default to all chats... not just the group.

So I am confused how does this work? I have Cingular and a 8525, I have never had PTT but will this allow me to use it?

more or less.... its kinda like aim with voices

u add a buddy
then u can chat with that buddy or a group.

so u hold talk record ur message let go it sends it comes out the speaker
then the option person can go... it also has text available too

o and the program has to stay open all the time in order to ge tthe messages
