Re: Palringo!
yea sorry that what I was talking about. i was saying every time I used it in the past and 2 days ago if I go to close a chat window it will erase the whole talk and i can't remember what was talked about or bring it up. so I use slick. I asked Palringo to please add the feature of when u close the window whaen you click on the person name to bring back up the talk but they never added it so I don't use it.

It is kinda annoying but that's the only way to keep your chat history alive at the moment. I wish they would make it like the AIM program where it keeps your chat session active under the name of the buddy your're chatting with. |

Re: Palringo!
So does Palringo use SMS for the IM or does it require an active data connection at all times (for typed messages, obviously I know the voice would require an active data connection).
Or does anyone know of a good IM that doesn't require an active data session? I don't want to kill the battery by signing into an IM... |

Re: Palringo!
Does this program piggy back on the default OZ instant messenger program? Because anytime I get a message (AIM at least), I notice that that program is now running all of a sudden.

Ah, apparently when I tried out the OZ messenger, I just exited the program instead of choosing sign out and exit. Otherwise it will just work in the background I guess. |

Re: Palringo!
Help, I can't get MSN to work. I quadruple checked my password..it refuses to sign on. I treid signing in using Microsofts mobile MSN client and it works fine..using the SAME username and password palringo will NOT sign me onto MSN. It signs me onto facebook, aol, yahoo etc just fine.
Anyone have any idea why? *edit* it appears this happens a lot with MSN clients, microsoft keeps changing stuff and refusing connections from clients that don't use the correct protocol..so maybe in a palringo update or msn update it will work |
Re: Palringo!

Re: Palringo!
I was going to make a new thread about my Palringo problem, but I guess this is the right thing to do
I can't get Palringo to connect. As described earlier in this thread, I keep getting the "Logging In" and "Reconnect Pending" messages. I can't uninstall, because I'm using the one cooked in NRG's ROM. I don't know what to do |
