I like the client, except two issues:

1) Doesn't keep chat history... clears it the second you minimize the program
2) Keeps re-connecting so much that it causes the IM servers to temp/ban me... sucks

I went back to OZ until they fix this stuff

doesnt seem to effect performance from my experience. still runs the battery down slowly... without palringo i can go days without a charge, but with it running never lasts for more than 1 day (but does last thru the entire day usually)

I does save chat history. Yes if you close the window and open the conversation again the screen will be cleared but if you look at the top of the screen there is a arrow pointing up. Click it and it will retrieve your conversation history. It gos back pretty far but couldn't tell you how far

also the more you tap the error the further it goes back. Ive gone back pretty far whe i was looking for a pic i was sent.

i've registered on the palringo site, but my PPC6800 will not connect! it goes as far as "logging in" then shoots back to "reconnect pending"

any ideas?

Both my pc and ppc version is from April 29, 2008. So no updates for either yet.
