what's up with Skyfire???
 

has ne1 tried to launch skyfire lately??? I'm getting, an error about not being able to connect to server or sumthin, i uninstalled, then redownloaded it from get.skyfire.com....but to no avail:scratch:....was jus wondering if i was da only 1 gettin this error message...i tried it on a 700w, same error...ne ideas or fyi we mite need to kno about???

i just got done watching cops on it 10 min. ago. i was on my tp if that helps. ii check my diamond now. its loading fine.

i just left opera and tryed again, now its down. both my diamond and pro. called my girl and her pro is also down. its them not us. hope this helps ya.

i only use skyfire for flash sites. opera for me. skyfire is re tooling and provisions, they sent my girl an email.

hey, hopefully u kno..speaking of opera, when i log onto my sprint acct...it always gives me only 2 options(open save)....no matter what i click...the manage page never loads???? but skyfire would with absolutely no prollems????? ne ideas on y opera wont??

Hey, hopefully you would know something about this issue I'm having with opera. When I log into my sprint account, the next window that loads only gives me two options, open save + cancel(cancel is the given). No matter which button i click on, the same error message is seen. I would like to reiterate the Skyfire would allow me to log into my sprint account with no problems. I was hoping maybe you could share what you thought might be causing this to happen? .....i sucked at english in school, bro..sorry if it annoys u

yesterday i was getting a service maintenence error from skyfire, but it's working fine today. Actually, page rendering is much better now (very little checker board pattern), anyone else noticing this?

I asked around. Opera dosnt support flash.

Flash is a form of video media like avi, divx, mpeg, etc... The difference is that flash is a much smaller video file and can be displayed very easy on the internet. Youtube is a flash video site. So is Google video, XNXX.com, etc...
You can make you own flash videos with your phone and upload them to Youtube if I'm not mistaken.

the new PIE apparently supports flash as long as u have the proper plugins installed.

i even remember having flash working on opera at one point on my htc touch, but mind u it didnt work well (choppy, froze all the time) lol

edit: and as for skyfire, its working fine on my diamond.

the same thiing happens with mine... all it says connecting and check flight mode but it doesnt connect.

Finally got it to work after uninstalling and reinstalling it again. You have to install through you desktop PC. The cab that you download to the phone from Skyfire's mobile site doesnt work.

It still doesnt work for me even after I Uninstalled it and Intalled it trough the PC. The thing is that it works just fine when my phone is connected to my pc. I never got sound either...

Anybody else getting bad resolution out of Skyfire? Its not horrible, but you can definatley see the difference between Skyfire, IE and Opera.

everyone keeps saying you can get flash out of PIE if you have the correct plugins. Where do you get those plugins?
