Re: Skyfire Version 0.80 Beta

Whats up guys, just checking how many of went back to .6 version. I got skyfire new update the day it came out, WHAT a chaos that was, anyways my high expection for this .8 fell with in 2 hrs of use. I really like the auto zoom feature, but there is still a lot more room for improvement. I went back to the .6 felt it was more stable and WORKS A WHOLE LOT BETTER.

Re: Skyfire Version 0.80 Beta

The new version is working GREAT for me... No issues since the original firewall troubles the had with their server, I like the changes they have made very much, especially the ability to download!!!!

Re: Skyfire Version 0.80 Beta

It's funny that the best browser for the ppc is just at .8 beta. Does anyone have any experience of how Skyfire compares to Safari for the Iphone?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the reason why its only at version .80 is because the browser is relatively new compared to the rest of the competition and so is the company.

Agree. .8 has fixed many of the issues I had with the past versions. I like that I can make it default and direct links from email, twitter, etc to open in a browser which displays the page properly.

Streaming video is working well. I streamed CSPAN for about 3 hours yesterday and had very view audio/video drops.
