Not being able to sign on is getting on my damn nerves. I'm giving this until the end of the night and then I'm uninstalling it. I heard it looks like a$$ on Diamond... is that true?

well i originally had .61 on my phone and installed the new one right over that from the get-go, didnt work though :-\

Figured out how to sign in to open the program.
Go to website and sign in. Go to reset password
and key in your email address and have skyfire
assign you a password and email it to you.
When you get the new password in your email,
key it in and it will unlock the browser and you are
good to go.=D>=D>=D>

.61 was working fine on the Diamond, but now that with this update its only showing on half of the screen. Any one else having this issue on the Diamond.

Try from the begining, step by step.

1) Remove Skyfire completely.
2) Install Skyfire .61
3) Login to Skyfire .61 to Authenticate, then exit.
4) Install Skyfire .8
4) Let the installation remove previous version.
5) Attempt to login to Skyfire .8
6) Reset your password.
7) Attempt to login with your OLD password.
8: If that fails, change your password back to the old password.
9) Attempt to login.
10) If this fails, or if you login to a black screen, try again later. The servers are still bogged down by too much traffic.

Mines working now. I clicked option "Forgot password" which did the password reset (skyfire emailed me a new password. Then I logged into the skyfire website with the new password and changed the password back to the original one. I was then able to log in with the skyfire browser.

From the Skyfire forum:

Everything you mentioned is server side related. All your data/preferences/history/bookmarks etc are stored on the server. The beta version released today is a conversion from the alpha program and they are having issues changing peoples accounts to work correctly as posted. On top of that slowdown issues etc are likely being caused by a massive influx of traffic from them opening the beta up to the public. I would just ask you to be patient for the timebeing while they get the infrastructure more stable. This is a beta, and they are definetly stress testing the product. Before opening the beta many improvements and expansion work was done to the servers, and I'm sure there are few kinks here and there.

The skyfire team works very hard and long hours to make their product shine, I know they'll have these issues resolved shortly. Thank you for your patience.

cant hurt to try it all again, i'll report back when im done. now that i've uninstalled it its freezing on me again :'(

Freezing after un-installing it doesn't sound right...

I gotta take off soon, hope it works for you. If not, I'll be back in the morning.
