I tried HTC Voice recorder on my mogul (6800) its not working as in not recording at all, all you see after trying to record is the audio file just created and the file size being 6b meaning it did'nt record anything

Weird... it works on the 6700, WM6 kitchen version.

Anyway, I don't have the old cab for the app in this thread, and even if I did you could not activate it for free anymore, as they've released the $30 version now and don't allow free activations like they did when I posted this last spring.

I've stopped using it myself, the HTC Voice Recorder works fine in WM6.
I liked noteM and Audacity because they made really small MP3 or Wav files. So far for me HTC uses too much memory.
I can't seem to change the quality to reduce the size of the files, or I would be more interested in the HTC VR.
Is there a way to do that?

i tried a few programs that do voice recording and settled on VITO audio notes.

while simpler than resco, the recordings just sounded better (i use medium mp3 setting on vito) less tinny and more warm and natural.

also, i easily found a way to add more recording onto existing files wtih VITO which i thought was really cool.
