Re: Sports Scores, News?
+1 on the PocketSportsCenter. It keeps a running scroll of scores you select as a Today plug-in, or you can run as a stand-alone app as well.
It doesn't report news though, just scores. |

Re: Sports Scores, News?
Depends, if you just want scores then you could go for PocketSportsCenter.
But for a broader set of features, PocketExpress is good. Would be interested to hear your comparison. I use PocketExpress, never tried PocketSportsCenter |

Re: Sports Scores, News?
I tried pocket sports center for about a week and messed around with the settings but it would not update on the times that i set for it. for football it was always about 2 quarters behind it would show final scores eventually. I am going to try pocket express. maybe I am not putting the right settings in for pocekt sportscenter???

It pulls real-time data from Fox Sports so unless there was a particular problem with Fox Sports updating then I don't know what could have been the issue. late, Coz

Re: Sports Scores, News?

Re: Sports Scores, News?
The best thing to do is download the file via your pc. Then hook up your pc and your ppc (e.g., via ActiveSync). Unzip the zip file on your pc. Inside that will be a .cab file that you'll drag from your pc to your ppc (pda). Then navigate to the .cab on your ppc and tap it to install.
Also, you can use something like Total Commander on your ppc to unzip zip files. Does that help you out? late, Coz |
