Weatherpanel not waking up system to update
Weatherpanel does not wakeup to automatically connect. It will auto connect if I am using the phone. When an incoming call comes in and wp has not autoconnected in the specified time, it will send the call to vm and give me a connect error.

I am actually having the same problem. It's making me NOT want to use WeatherPanel. It's sent some fairly important calls to Voicemail..

In the "Connection" tab in WP what are your settings? Also go to Settings/Personal/Phone/Services/Data Settings ("Do not allow a voice call to interrupt my data session") si that box checked or not?

Coz.....I think this is very similar to my current issue. I do have Weatherpanel the settings are:

Checked: Auto update
Establish Connection
Unchecked: Disable checking for newer versions

I also have NewsPanel, but I unchecked auto update (essentially taking it out of the picture (I hope))

The one issue I can't look into is the setting you told us to look into...I do not have Data Settings under my Services tab....any other ideas where to fing it?

You can also get to it this way:
From your today screen tap Menu (right soft key), then select Preferences, then select Phone Settings. You'll then see four tabs at the bottom (Phone, Services, Dialing, Security). Select Services. You'll then see four options (Data Settings, Location Privacy, Roaming, Voice Privacy). Select Data Services and see if the box is checked or not.

Telling you my phone would probably help....wouldn't it? I have a Treo 700w.

I looked where you told me (with the soft key menu), and I get the same screen with your first set of instructions. All I get though are two choices:

Voice Privacy
Location Privacy

Both are greyed out making then 'un-chosable'
