The one issue I can't look into is the setting you told us to look into...I do not have Data Settings under my Services tab....any other ideas where to fing it?

You can also get to it this way:
From your today screen tap Menu (right soft key), then select Preferences, then select Phone Settings. You'll then see four tabs at the bottom (Phone, Services, Dialing, Security). Select Services. You'll then see four options (Data Settings, Location Privacy, Roaming, Voice Privacy). Select Data Services and see if the box is checked or not.
