Re: Kinoma media player

Anyone else here with a diamond/touch pro, using a custom rom, have problems with youtube freezing about 80% of the way through a video? Every video freezes near the end for me. It works fine on the stock sprint rom, but every single custom rom I have tried, it freezes on every single video. The video and audio freeze, but the timeline bar continues to tick down. I know I can play youtube through the stock youtube app, but I like the extra features you get with Kinoma. I have tried Kinoma support. They respond in a timely manner, but they didn't really have any suggestions for a possible fix.

Same thing for me, exactly. I have no idea of why, or any fix for it...but it also seems that its just on custom Roms.

Do you have the full version? Have you contacted Kinoma support? If more people contact them about the problem, maybe we can get a fix.

There's a thread in the Kinoma support forum talking about this. They say they don't support custom roms, and I can totally understand that if the problem was only on one specific rom, but this problem exists on diamond and touch pro custom roms. So, I'm guessing the same problem could have the same solution, if they looked into it. So, if you have a problem with this, just post on the kinoma support forum, and say what device you are using, and whether you are using a custom or stock rom. http://forum.kinoma.com/showthread.php?t=2830

Re: Kinoma media player

I have had this problem for a while now any help would be appreciated as technical support from orb and kinoma havent helped. My audio/video are WAY out of sync! Everything worked without any adjustments on my mogul but on my touch pro (sprint) the video looks great but is just unwatchable due to how off the audio is (about 3 sec). I've tried every codec in the book and like i said my desktop handled everything fine with my mogul but I've had this problem for 4 months now and am only using kinoma play (paid version) just for radio at this point. ANY ideas are appreciated!

Re: Kinoma media player

It absolutely drives me f-in crazy that Kinoma doesn't post any kind of a changelog for their product.
